So if it stays as it is what's the highest/lowest Hamilton and Rosberg can finish in order for Hamilton to win the title? I

And another entirely predictable Ham 1. Ros podium; Ros wins the title.

Still think Hamilton will win it overall; it seems like Rosberg got away with one with Verstappen but we won't keep getting away with it.

I mean if Ros goes out now.
Whoever wins at AD is the WC. As is stands Ros doesn't need to "race" at AD just finish 2nd. I'd rather the points were so close that they have to full on, balls-to-the-wall race at AD to win the WC.

Vestappen! What a drive.

Max Verstappen goes past Sebastian Vettel with an overtaking move that Vettel wont like

He seems to be not happy with him

Surprised the race even finished. Shame for Verstappen, I'd have liked him in second to give us lower points difference between Hamilton and Rosberg

Verstappen has has an amazing race, outstanding drive.
Seb needs to go away and accept he is nowhere near the best driver on the track & probably never was. Such a moaning little cry baby.

Surprised Rosberg managed his P2.

Red Bull blew the strategy.

Riccardo got shaded big style by Max based on that you could see Verstappen beating riccardo to a championship and turning him in to a mark webber type driver.

Ah but he was the best driver on the track back then, same as Hamilton is now.

I bet Lewis was hoping that they did not get rid of the Double points for the last race

Honestly still don't think he was the best driver. Hamilton is deffo up there with Max, Danny R', Alonso & maybe Hulk but Vettel just never stood out as anything other than someone that could steer the best car round the track.
As soon as the car was no longer the best he form & results plummeted and he jumped ship to save being shown up for a second season by his teammate.
I'd even put Rosberg above Vettel on the list of best drivers on the grid.

crazy race!”

It's probably a good job Hamilton and Rosberg didn't come in as Verstappen was just so much faster, he would have taken Rosberg and it would have been huge entertainment battling Hamilton. I have to say driver of the day by a country mile. Crazy race as you said but in the end probably one of the best races of the year.

Rosberg and Vettel are the most overrated drivers on the grid

Nico is only good because he is driving a Mercedes and Vettel only won those four World titles because the Red Bull was so good

Yes, I'm beginning to think Hamilton and Verstappen are the best racers out there now, and if RB are closer to Mercedes next season, that will produce fun and games the like of which we haven't seen for a few years!

Thanks for the laughs.

Funny how Vettel could steer the best car around the track, yet his teammate was regularly beaten by other drivers. The current merc, is a lot better than its competitors, than the RB (that Vettel drove) was. This is bourne out by the results. How many 1-2 finishes did the RB have? A lot less than the current merc has had. Vettel, could drive that RB way better than any other driver on the grid. Thats not to say he is the best driver on the grid.

The current best driver on the grid is Alonso. Its just a shame he got a supermarket trolley to drive at the moment. Max showed hes got skill in the rain, however lets not get carried away. He was awesome yesterday, however I think he still has got a bit to learn. Which is no problem, as he has time on his side and no doubt he will be a future champion.

Rosberg is a step closer to the title. He must be ruing that there is an extra two races on the calendar this year. Otherwise he would have been champion a while back.

A very eventful race and the conditions made it Hamilton's best chance for something to go wrong for Rosberg but luck has been with Rosberg all year and unless it deserts him in the last race he will win the title. Hamilton is a better racing driver than Rosberg but it is points on the board that count.

Excellent drive from Verstappen who has made the headlines for the right reasons and made a brilliant save which would have seen most crash. He would have been second had RB left him out on full wets.

I would agree with you, that Hamilton is a better driver than Rosberg.

I think Rosberg would be the champ, if RB left Verstappen out on full wets. Rosberg was smart enough not to race Verstappen too hard. Hamilton on the other hand isnt the smartest driver, so the two would have probably taken each other off. Or possibly judging the way Verstappen was driving yesterday, he would have won.
