Well done Rosberg. That shows what consistency can do.

I'm a Hamilton fan, always have been. But the classier man won overall, there was no class in that drive today from Lewis. I'm very disappointed in him.

And had he not done what he did, it would have been an absolutely dull race.

Every single driver on that grid would have driven the exact same way had they been in his position. Every single driver.

I agree, naughty Hamilton there.

Well put.

Have Hamilton and Rosberg even acknowledged each other yet?

Great WDC from Nicco Rosberg bravely over took the up and coming young tallent on track. Stoically he resisted the cynical tactics of his team mate. Behind him Sebastian warrior driver sought vengeance against the against the Red Bulls proudly following the champion home.

Well done Nicco Rosberg Champion of the World.

They seem to be doing everything to avoid each other in the holding room.

ROFL That was subtle, David. Very subtle.

Rosberg gets the WDC just for participation - much like his old man.

Let's face it - Hamilton's engine failures won him the WDC, nothing else.

Oh yeah, as an afterthought well done Nico.

Can't even be gracious in defeat

Sebastian took the elephant in the room and pointed it out for all it was worth there: "Lewis was going so slow upfront..."

The words 'class' and 'Hamilton' do not belong in the same sentence.

Most petulant, disrespectful and unpopular world champion ever; let's hope he never claims the title again.

Well done Nico.

Maybe Hamilton can ask for a recount

Nico Rosberg's championship win once again exposing the folly of Formula One- you don't need to be the best driver to win the World Championship.

Perhaps the most unimpressive Championship win in the last decade of Formula One.

Sad for Hamilton he was the best driver let's face it, Rosberg only won because of Hamiltons bad luck.

Let's remember how Hamilton won his first world championship. It was all set to be Massa's championship...

...then Timo Glock made a mistake on the final corner of the final lap of the final race, giving Hamilton more points to snatch the title at the last moment.

True. Those complaining about Lewis. In the same position rosberg and every other driver would have done exactly what Lewis did. that was only way to at least have a chance of winning the title. Driving off into the distance wouldn't do.

No wonder F1 is so boring with so many Germans running it.

Just out of interest has any other driver won the most races but still lost? Lewis won the most didn't he

I can see Hamilton essentially turning on his team in the coming weeks and being openly critical of them because he "only" lost the title by 5 points.

It's interesting that Damon Hill just said that he was asked in the Mercedes garage what he would do in Lewis' position. Damon said that he would have done the same thing.
