Nasty crash for Massa.

That is what happened yesterday. Near identical crash.

Safety car, but it's not at the right time for Mercedes!

How strange that the safety car took so long to be deployed...

Poor Hamilton, losing places because of race control.

So, the people who are complaining about the tyre test - would you really have this borefest for the rest of the season instead?
It's mercedes making it boring would have been more exciting if they didn't get a secret test and still had high deg.

It is the biggest farce of a race every year.

It is past being any kind of 'race', but merely a procession to the finish, and a 78 lap procession at that.

Completely forgot about this and only just tuned in. Did Vettel get yet another lucky break with the safety car in pitting at the right time or not?

Well, if they had much less deg now than other teams then you might have a point, but they don't.

And Mercedes have been racing just as much as everyone else. How exactly is the inability of the Red Bulls, Ferrari and McLarens to overtake more exciting?

Yes, he did. Race control took far too long to deploy the safety car then it didn't deploy until after the Mercedes cars had just passed the pit lane entry so they had to do a full lap slowly, whereas Vettel was just reaching it so could dive in.

The Red Bulls both got ahead of Hamilton as a result of the timing.

Hope Massa is ok.

Beautiful surroundings as usual. Absolute snoozefest as usual.

The one grand prix that I never look forward to, it's just a procession from start to finish.

Good grief! Red flag and barriers blocking the track! Hope Chilton and Maldonado are ok!

Presumably the cars are going to form up on the grid now?

This is not good news for Rosberg - Vettel got a great start last time and was only hampered by Hamilton. Rosberg doesn't have that buffer next time!

That second crash looked bad. This might take a while before we restart. Track looks a mess

Think both drivers are ok. Bianchi made it to the pits I think, and Maldonado's out of his car and walking........

Don't they restart behind the safety car?

Yes they do......

Don't forget everyone can change tyres if they wish too......

Going to be an 'interesting' restart!

Might not be time left to restart! (Red flag time gets added to the race time and of course there may well be a safety car lap or 2 when they do get going again)
