It looks like Mercedes have wasted their money on Hamilton now it is Rosberg who delivers the win.
You're embarrassing yourself now.

Do us a favour and spare us all your idiotic bull.

Ham will likely be gutted could merc only win and Rosberg has it. Hamilton thinks he is the best around monaco out qualified and out raced by his team mate won't sit well with him.

Here's a fact for you: only one driver can win a race.

Did Ferrari waste their money on Schumacher and Raikkonen - both of them drove in races where their teammate won!

Hamilton just had a bit of bad luck to end up fourth. Red Bull just got it to finish consistently great results. It could have easily been a Mercedes 1-2. Hamilton is not a bad driver.

Yeah and you want it to be the one your paying 20M a year.

I wonder if the teams are all watching each other to see who doesn't leave as thats the ross brawn method for finding out who has a secrete three day tyre test with this years car.

Kimi to loose his point for SC speeding I think. You can't really be getting away with that.

So Schumacher and Raikkonen weren't worth the money then as Massa and Irvine won races...

Teams want a win, doesn't matter which of their drivers gets it, the constructors points and therefore the money they get are the same.

Am I the only one who was secretly hoping Webber might try something on Vettel towards the end?

Remember Mark, Multi 21 is optional, apparently.
*holds hand up* - me too!!!! Would have loved it!!!!!
Well it wouldn't have been the first time Webber broke team orders and challenged Vettel so...

Anyway, great race today - especially as Monaco can sometimes be a procession. I wonder why Hamilton dropped so far back on that pit stop though? He seemed to severly misjudge it. Vettel didn't challenge an excellent Rosberg as much as he could have done. Did the tyre tests give Mercedes an unfair advantage today? It will be a shame if Raikkonen loses out on tenth place but if he broke the rules he broke the rules.

Be fair, Rosberg was the quicker driver ALL weekend. As for the safety car, without it slowing down the rest of the pack Hamilton could have ended up far worse than 4th.

Those who thought Hamilton was a class above Rosberg were simply wrong.

Rosberg is quite far behind in the points and given how hard it is to overtake and the number of accidents, I don't think Vettel made much of an effort to catch him. Although Rosberg may well have been able to go quite a bit quicker anyway.

A decent race by Monaco standards.

Very pleased for Nico. He's a bit underrated I think.

Grosjean to be given ten place grid penalty in Canada for his collision with Riccardo. While accepting it, Lotus aren't too impressed after claiming Riccardo held Grosjean up in qualifying.

A proper channel? Are you crazy? Sky Sports is a 'proper channel and I can guarantee you more than just a few thousand have it.

Most sports fans in the UK have sky sports now, so stop complaining and being tight!
Nice to know you're so loyal to Sky and want to give Rupert Murdoch your money, but If you read properly what I wote. I said just a few thousand would SEE it, not have it. Actually I have just found a recent thread on here with the same sort of subject.

And while I can still get free streams for the races I want to see (or the occasional football match) I'll stay being tight thanks.

I don't think he was underrated, it's more a case of him making real improvement. I didn't think he would be equal to Hamilton, but so far if anything he is outperforming him - early days though.

One thing that bothers me is this talk of Raikkonen beating Schumacher's record of consecutive points finishes, surely Schumacher's record was set in the days when to score a point you had to finish inside the top 6 or the top 8. I could be wrong or maybe they've adjusted accordingly

Hamilton could do ridiculously bad and I doubt Mercedes would regret their decision! Hamilton is bringing publicity to Mercedes!

And Hamilton is in a very good position considering the fact that no one expected him nor Rosberg to be in the top 5.

Perez drove like a man possessed today......
Took far to many chances and eventually his luck ran out.
For Monaco, that was a pretty entertaing race.
And get well soon Murray.

Hamilton will be bringing a huge amount of sponsorship money. So he might work out cheaper than Rosberg to employ!!

Depends, I guess.

It's a long season and there are a number of fairly "traditional" races coming up so it should be easy enough for him to stay out of trouble.

I think it might be wise, for his career, if he decides to spend the rest of this year as Kimi's "rear gunner" rather than trying to challenge for wins though.
Prove he can be a valuable asset to the team and all that.

According to the BBC commentary he is on a 3-race rolling contract, and this was race 6 of the season, so his contract is up for renewal and he could actually be replaced for Canada!

Well it just gets worse for Mercedes. http://t.sport.uk.msn.com/f1/new-twist-in-tyre-test-row

What do you think?

Considering these tires are potentially dangerous, this should be let go and most of the FIA sacking because this is pathetic, bring back multiple tyre companies, refuelling and season testing.

Are they trying to risk drivers lives here if something major goes wrong with the Pirelli tires. Whilst Pirelli want to solve the problem, the FIA will not allow it.

I thought they said on TV at the time, that they told Hamilton to back off a bit, then pit, to avoid 2 cars at the garage at the same time.but this decision cost more time than they thought, and Hamilton came back out on the track in the wrong place, and never regained enough places.

TBH, I'm not sure it would have made a big difference.
Even if he'd come in right behind Rosberg he would, at best, have ended up between Vettel and Webber.

Hamilton's said that it was his own fault for taking it easy on the way into the pits but I don't think anybody was prepared for quite how quickly the SC let the RBRs past and how quickly they completed the lap to get around before Hamilton left the pits.
