He was held up for three seconds trying to overtake Raikonnen and Botthas.

Van de Garde will definitely be given a penalty.
It doesn't matter how much time you lose, it's how many flags you pass. If you ignore three in a row you get a penalty, I only spotted two.

Raikkonen should have seen three flags, the amount of time Vettel was behind him. I agree, I don't think he did.

It looked as though Hulkenberg swerved into Van De Garde there.

Yeah, the marshalls probably made a mistake there.

It did look like Nico's fault

I don't know what's happened but I used to be a fanatic F1 watcher, now I spend the time on my laptop just glancing up now and again
Funny enough, I was bored and was thinking the same so came on DS.

Vettel making a mistake is the most exciting thing he's done all day. My uni work is more exciting than watching him drive away...

He's going to be dull when he leads by such a margin - anyone would be. He's starting to look a bit ragged though; I wouldn't be surprised if he hit the Wall of Champions before the end of the race.

It may be slightly sadistic of me but I almost hope he does... Vettel doesn't have nearly enough bad luck compared to everyone else, and I'd much prefer any of Hamilton, Alonso or Webber to win - Vettel irritates me and I'll be so annoyed if he wins yet another championship.

I was just going to say that Sutil saw at least 3 blue flags and should have a penalty, and I see he's got a drive-through, what a stupid thing for him to do!

No he didn't, if anything the Ferrari grazed the corner of the Mercedes. Not that it matters anyway, both of them knew what they were doing

I too now have it on in the background and doing more reading of DS than watching.

F1 is becoming very boring.

All this tyre crap doesn't help and with Vettle winning from the start by miles, we don't get enough actual racing.

Could have been a wheel not attached properly or some other issue - wasn't shown on the BBC pictures anyway so we have no idea what happened. And it's not even that unusual, the driver's only just got new tyres, so the car feels different, and they have to get used to that quickly.

Then Hamilton goes and hits alonso again, worse than grossjean this guy.
That was a replay And Hamilton was on the racing line, Alonso was the one who'd moved out to pass and was coming back across, ergo Alonso's fault.

And saying Hamilton is worse than Grosjean is possibly the most ridiculous thing I've seen posted on here in years. No-one who has any understanding at all of motor racing would say that with any degree of seriousness.

Vettel on his way to another title zzz. Just like the Schumacher era again.
Yep, it's incredibly boring
