And how, exactly, was Mercedes' experience with the tyres today any different to any of the other teams, including the rest who have been hard on the tyres. Only Force India managed a one-stop, and they're usually kind on their tyres anyway. |

What on earth is all the booing and shouting about?
It's just rude. I don't even like Vettel but I'd quite like to hear what he has to say all the same...

I can't stand Vettell but I wouldn't boo anyone unless they had done something bad!
I am starting to consider whether I will keep F1 on Sky next year. I can't remember the last time I watched a race avidly from start to finish |

Drop the Sauber on Adrian Newey that will sort the racing out.

I hardly watch F1 anymore, less now than even the boring Schumacher years. Still no reason to boo Vettel

Got to admire Button's honesty, that was a very frank interview.

Fairly straightforward race IMO. Thought it was a bit silly the way pundits were speculating that Hamilton might be going to one-stop. Surely all you have to do is look at the difference in pace between Hamilton and guys like Kimi, Grosjean, Button and di Resta to see that Hamilton wasn't on the same strategy. Making a fuss about the fact it's the first time in years that McLaren have failed to scored points seems a bit silly too. I mean, I dunno why they'd feel particularly proud of scoring points given that they haven't won a drivers title since 2008 and and haven't won a constructors title since 1998. |

Rosberg flat spotted, Hamilton couldn't make it a one-stop - not exactly flawless.

Only Force India managed a one-stop, and they're usually kind on their tyres anyway. The start of the season mercedes had to stop earlier and or more times than the other teams. They lost performance in every stint and almost got to the cliff at every GP. Now all these problems have disappeared for them. With such obvious progress since the test it will be a disgrace if the FIA do not take severe action. |

Funny the way people are suggesting this is the worst period in McLaren's history.
Does nobody remember back to the mid 1990's when Mansell was driving for them? |

Yeah exactly rosberg would have done a one stop but for driver error. No way Mercedes could have done this before spain..
Not quite sure what point you're trying to make about the tyres given there's no evidence whatsoever for the claims you're making about Mercedes' performance in Canada - they had exactly the same race as every other team, no-one suffered much tyre degradation no matter what their build of car. |

![]() If Sutil had moved over, Alonso would have DRS and had a better chance of making the pass on Hamilton. As it was, Sutil stayed in front and that gave Hamilton DRS as well and helped him stay ahead of Alonso. |

If they had been from different supporting groups there would have been vocal competition (i.e. both sounds at once). That's not to say that Vettel wouldn't be booed in Silverstone but in Montréal it was from Alonso fans. So no surprise. |
