Your missus is correct, it was around middle the of June when the BBC reported it.
Fair do's.

Weather seems fairly reasonable at Silverstone.
Bright but not particularly hot and quite breezy.
Hopefully that'll minimise tyre issues for the majority of teams.

To be fair if Mercedes truly said they would withdraw from F1 if they were properly punished for the 'Pirelli test', then the FIA should have called their bluff and said 'Well goodbye'.. NO team is bigger than the 'sport'
Yeah this is the problem the sports governing body failing to act. So now people are being absolved of cheating as soon as it is discovered.

Racing is supposed to be about making the best car you can then letting the drivers compete.

This is turning in to who can act outside the regulations in the best way.

The really disappointing thing is that it's cowardice from the teams being scared of a straight contest.

Anyway looks like an easy win for hamilton. Especially if they can get rosberg in position to block and hold everybody up with some going slow on purpose.

Ferrari season is I think now over from what Alonso has said there is still a fundamental problem with correlation.

I remember the refuelling fuel filter affair with Benetton in 1994, FIA cowardice sadly is nothing new

Bet Alonso wishes Massa was fast enough to help with that.

Still, they can always pop Massa's gearbox again, if it'll help, at least.

Vettel winning every race and wrecked this season. Such a shame as I am an avid fan and usually watch every race.
