Can you tell your mate to go to every race from now on please?

Crazy race today and congrats to Rosberg. Would've liked to have seen Webber/Alonso take it but either way a good result.

All teams should have the opportunity to be involved.

You don't want to create a situation where one team could hinder any changes by refusing to participate.

Gees sky just let some random girl walk in on their post race show. Can't they act a bit professional. And now instead of Christian Horner we will have something in a skirt.

Poor McLaren. Home race, no points. Amazed that despite Rosberg winning twice this year, Hamilton is STILL ahead of him in the points. Consistency? That's what one needs. Points, points, points.

EDIT: Random girl is a former Spice Girl, Geri Halliwell. lol

Most cars didn't have any issues whatsoever.”

Rosberg did have a tyre issue, or was beginning to have one - he was just very near to the pits when it started to happen.

Fair point - offer the opportunity to get involved and, if they don't, then that's up to them.

It looked like Geri Spice

Arghhhhhhhhhh - what relevance is she to F1

Yeah this is the problem with pirelli going off with Mercedes to have a secrete test. They didn't involve the other teams they were not open about what they were doing. They wanted to give Mercedes an advantage as they were their biggest critic.

The result is that things haven't got sorted out. The improper conduct from pirelli and Mercedes have largely brought us to this position.

BBC coverage - So a raised kerb caused the cutting on the tyres? Why wasn't that causing punctures last year, though? Has the concrete been raised over the year?

With a bit of luck we may get a F1 drivers champion this year that isn't Vettel

The thought of him winning the title again is a bit of a turn off for me

I'd rather have a deserved world champ than a lucky one. Vettel is the best so far this year.

Yes but relevance does she have in F1

Could it not be argued that Vettel is a lucky world champion ?

Only so far as they all are: you need the car to win.

All credit to Hamilton and what a contrast to listening to the puppet of Brawn. He tried to defend the indefensible. The safety of the drivers is paramount and to suggest the failures are not obvious and anything other than construction problem is not right.

No luckier than anyone else who wins it. In the end you need a decent car and reliability but you have to be a talented driver as well.

Over the season, luck tends to balance itself out (as Vettel found out today) - if he's the best then so be it.

Interesting comment from Gary earlier about tyre pressures.

Thing is, it rather exposes RBR's hypocrisy.

It was only a couple of months ago that RBR were being publicly critical of the Pirelli tyres and suggesting they should be made more durable on safety grounds rather for any strategic reasons, and yet they then do their best to interfere with an attempt to improve the situation and, coincidentally probably make things a bit better for them as well.

Why not just get in the queue behind Merc' to do a tyre test rather than complaining about it?

Not for me, as I still prefer Vettel to other personalities in Formula One.

With Schumacher I wasn't a fan of his personality as a racer, which made it easier for me to support others.

And he was right - Red Bull increased the pressure in Vettel's tyres before his final stint.

Why should Mercedes get first bite of the cherry (and, to this date, the only bite)?

They either get an offer to do a test at the same time or not at all. It's not hypocrisy; just simple fair play.

RBR did have the same opportunity.

They just chose to wait until Merc' accepted and then complain about it instead.

Did every team have the opportunity to hold a test with Pirelli at the same time?
