They need to pit Vettel now.

And they have.

I think the "Keep fighting" comment was just referring to his need to keep fighting the Lotuses.

Bit unusual to tell Vettel that; he's a natural fighter. He doesn't have to be told to fight.

Nice.

I've switched to the tennis now, come on Lotus.

Thank you.

I'm sweating just sitting here watching it. God knows how drivers cope with the heat levels!

Well, they're specifically telling him to hunt down Kimi now.

I think you mean Kimi is as he'll punch anyone in the face.

Hamilton holding Vettel up could help Raikkonen.

Hamilton will probably be taking some grim satisfaction from this.

Looking at it, another pitstop for Button means that, realistically, he'll be lucky to finish in the points.

I think Lotus are hoping that Button and/or Alonso will hold Vettel and Grosjean up which will help Raikkonen jump them.

EDIT: Oh well, stuff that.

That Donkey has gone as crazy as this race.

Why didn't they pit Raikkonen when the window was there for him to jump Grosjean? He could have then chased down Vettel on fresh tyres.

Scary the way Button was 3 seconds ahead of Hamilton before they both stopped and now Button is 9 seconds ahead.

Oddball sort of race the way pitstops have worked out. The whole "undercut" thing just seems totally random.

Poor Grosjean.

I hope Vettel wags that finger at Kimi, only for Kimi to rip it off.

Final lap - one second gap between Vettel and Raikkonen then Raikkonen slid.

Balls!

Ferrari need some new/better people. They spend so much money yet aren't at the top.

Alonso either needs to move or Ferrari need improve.

Well, fairly straightforward victory for Vettel despite oddball things going on behind him.

Main thing I'd say is that it shows that anybody who thinks Merc' got any big benefit from the tyre test is talking out of their arse.

That and, of course, that Merc's season is probably going to go downhill when F1 leaves the cooler climates of Northern Europe.

Congratulations, Vettel.

Nice Vettel deserved the win after the bad luck at Silverstone and some good fans here to cheer him instead of booing like they do at Silverstone.

But Christian Horner usually does that.

Today was a different kind of tyre to those Mercedes tested with, though. It was an even race and we saw what happened.

No it doesn't Mercedes used the data to optomis their car for the tyres used up to Silverstone not these tyres. They got the benefit at Monaco and the UK.

I don't know why but I just can't warm to Vettel. He has done amazing things in F1 but I don't find he that likeable.
