Thats a big if. I agree if people at the top, Marko, Horner etc want Vettel as a number 1 - then the other driver will find it hard. However I dont think it is clear that they do. Horner asking Vettel to stay behind Webber was proof of that. For them (Horner, etc) the team comes first, not Vettel. Vettel comes first, when there is a race or two to go and hes in a fight for the title..like last year. Previous years hes won it easily so not much of an issue. The teams priority has always been the constructors title first and then the driver title.
In other news, Horner has said that Kimi is not defiantly out of the running. There is still a chance he may be a RBR driver next year (although it does seem small). However he has also said other big names have asked for the seat as well. I am guessing by big names he means Alonso and Hamilton. It certainly wouldnt surprise me if both of those drivers have made enquires. Button has also been mentioned in rumours.
