Hugo's time in the jungle is surely the definition of a "journey"?

He went in and nobody really thought much of him, he sulked, he whined and clearly wasn't enjoying the experience.
Since then, he's triumphed in his trials and seems to have really come on in leaps and bounds as a person. It's been great to watch and there doesn't seem to be any fakeness - he's honest about how he's feeling. Surely a strong contender for winner?

I must admit, he has really surprised me. Wasn't sure to begin with but he has thrown himself into everything and I find him funny because I know he isn't trying to be, it's just how he is. Hope he makes it to the final.

I have to say that I am never fond of people from reality shows such as Made In Chelsea and I wasn't a fan of Mark last year because of that - but Hugo has shown himself to actually be a really nice guy and a lot of what he's gone through in there I can relate to in some way - wanting to beat David, being teased all the time etc and he's come through it all with his head held high.

Seems Hugo is the brains of the Jungle, if not the King , he does have then intelligence of all the others put together..and thats official.

The journey story has already been nabbed by Helen

i think he was always a decent person i think people have just changed their preconceived ideasabout him there was a lot of inverted snobbery around the dislike of Hugo at the start

I agree, I thought he was amazing in the trial, I think being on the show seems to have made him a stronger person.

I've really changed my view of Hugo. I've never watched MIC so had no idea who he is and I'll admit I thought he was a bit of a nob initially when he cried in the BT and whinged about things.

However, he seems to get on really well with everyone, takes the banter in good part, is very competitive but for the good of his camp-mates as well as for boosting his own confidence and the way he tacked the trial when he got all the stars really impressed me.

I wouldn't mind if he won now

She's had no journey - she's the same waste of space, void that she was when she went in.

Really love Hugo. He has changed a great deal since he went in. He was a bit 'nose in the air' when he went in but he is really enjoying himself now and it shows. He has let his hair down and I hope he is up there with the winner if not the winner.

He'll be getting my vote if Charlie goes first. I don't know how he's kept his temper with a few of them in there.

Hugo has 2 things going for him;

1) He's the nearest thing to beefcake in a series devoid of good looking young men, and

2) He's not quite so petulant as he was at the start.

Hardly qualities that mean he deserves to win, or even be in the top 3.

Err, David is proper beefcake, good looking and a nice guy to boot. We had the pleasure of staying at the same hotel as him & his family a few years ago.

There's a few things to like about Hugo, but the one that stood out for me was last night during the dingo dollar challenge.

He's had real conversations with people in there, and had been interested in what they had said, like him knowing Rosemary had worked in that restaurant because she'd told him.

I'm ashamed to say that out of all the campmates I would've pegged him as the one who wouldn't give a flying one about the rest, and just chatted to pass the time.

I like him more and more. I especially loved his reaction when Ashley told him she made up the monster during the challenge. Wonderful reaction! I'd like to see Hugo win

He doesn't even know his north from his south.

Perhaps I should have said 'eligible' handsome young men instead of beefcake. Haye is 32 years old, married with a child.

Too dull to win.
