Will they have a semi final singoff if Chris has 2nd least votes?

I'd say so.

I'd say so too, but it's likely he's going to storm on to win by a huge majority, so the judges won't get the chance to evict him. But I'm sure they will spring a surprise sing off in the final if it suits them.

All these people who are voting for him, can they honestly put their hand on their heart and say they will continue to support and buy his album and single!?, personally i think not.

Everyone will have lost interest in a years time

Have they announced anything yet? If not I'd imagine they'd leave that option open, they can always engineer deadlock if he isn't in the bottom two.

Fairly sure Union J and James will be the Bottom 2

Bottom 2 doesn't really mean anything though, as there is no judges voting in the semi final. Unless they change it this year...........

But that's the point of this thread - will they bring it in this year to get rid of Chris? If he has been in the top three rather than top two for any of the last few weeks I very much suspect they might...

I reckon they would. They did a similar thing back in 2010 to get Cher into the semi-final.

Hope so. Wouldn't normally agree with it but the thought of him making the final is too much to contend with.

Same can be said for every one of the acts on the show. I mean really do you think every one who vote no matter who it is, is going to buy the albums etc after??

If they did Matt Joe Leon etc wouldnt have bombed like they did

They did it to get Cher into the final.

I think that the producers want James in the final, and want Chris out. So! If James is dead bottom, there'll be a bottom two. If not, bottom act goes. They'll also do anything to keep Chris out at all costs so if he's anywhere near the bottom then expect him being forced out. The only thing that will keep Chris in, is by getting second or first in the voting.

There is no level that they won't stoop to in order to prevent Christopher getting to the final and winning. The manipulation machine will be working overtime. It hasn't worked so far, and a lot of Rylan fans might well support him now.

Of course they will. There won't be a need though.

No - nothing was said last night. Last year they were clear before the semi final that there were no more judges votes/sing offs as it was all down to the public vote.

No such statement last night by Dermot - so I expect they will wait until Sunday morning when they see how the vote stands. They can always pad the show if needs be e.g. a recap of the remaining acts' journey' to fill the 10 mins reserved for the sing off.
