Its not that I like Cheryl as such, its that shes as big a part of the Pa stuff as Brendan to me. She should have a bigger part to play in that than Ste since its her Dad. To me once the truth comes out, if of course it does it suddenly actually becomes more Cheryls story in what she does with the information. Brendan is suddenly free, her lifetime of pain starts.

I expect they will film everything around it and then have a backlog of Cheryl scenes to film in one go when shes fit to return.

See to me a big part of Brendans character will be written off if he doesnt support her when she finds out. I know that sounds daft because she hasnt supported him and probably wont initially believe him but forgetting Cheryl and her problems, Brendan dotes on her and for him to not at least try and help her through that when hes spent the majority of his life protecting her from this secret would feel so wrong.

She will obviously disappear off screen for a while, probably when she finds out.

I knew certain arguments would begin again once reunion was nearbecause the whole show and all it's characters exist to revolve around Stendan.

HO don't really do aftermaths though. They will presumably "defeat" Pa in some way. Confront him, whatever. Cheryl will be shocked/appalled at the revelations. Everyone will move on.

I'm sure she's a massive part of the Pa stuff, and i can imagine throwing things at the screen at her stupidity in trying to throw Brendan and his Dad together. But after that, I'd be happy for her to get her own storyline really, away from them.

Yeah, I think that all three of them have been spotted filming in a pub. I reckon' that Stendan are together at that point and they bump into JP again. Maybe that's when Ste finds out about JPendan?

Also: do we think it's possible that Brendan moves in with Ste because he wants to stay away from Pa? That article makes it sound like Cheryl is gonna seriously push them together, so moving in the slum would be a great excuse for Brendan to avoid him.

The idea that Amy was written out to clear the way for Ste to go back to Brendan is just ... yeah, plain daft.

Think of the amazing soapy drama of keeping her in! The disapproval and lemon-sucking face. The concern and intimate convos that revisit their history. Her and Brendan being civil but basically loathing each other. God, I miss her like mad. No sane producer would waste that potential.

But thats sort of my point, forget the publicity on this to me and I know Im in the minority but Brendans abuse is actually also Cheryl story. It affects her as much moving forwatd if not more as this will come out of the blue for her.

Oh no I cant see them not having Cheryl react to this news for a while to come. It changes her whole view on life so to me she will have some aftermath. Especially when she also loses Brendan soon after it. She will have lost both her brother and her father in the space of a couple of months, they are bound to show some character aftermath for her with this.
