Dodger plans a surprise in order to bring his family together, but can they focus on the future or do some wounds run too deep?

Meanwhile, Myra is caught between Jacqui and Mercedes. Can she do right by both, or will she have to choose?

Elsewhere, Mitzeee tells Maxine to find a job, but her sister has other ideas.

Also today, Ash considers giving Martha another chance. Will she be able to unite the Kanes?

Hi everyone! No news, I reckon'?

And he knows the only way Ste will give up on him is if he's violent.

It's how Ste learns this and what he does is the key thing. I have faith though. ES said she'd never reunite them until Brendan had changed. And he has. This isn't him being a thug. We hope.

It's needlessly dramatic and omg!shock of them but it doesn't change Brendan's development to me.”

Totally agree with this.
The only thing I'm worried about is Ste and his POV. Let's hope they handle this well.

See that's why I love them.

People can complain all they like but this is such a dark, mature story and abuse will always be part of their relationship, even if it's a dark shadow and spectre of the past.

Brendan could never hit Ste ever again and I hope he doesn't but the ghosts of it will always linger.

I love them.

No news.

And agree. We'll see Ste put himself on the line and I hope he makes Brendan realise that he needs to do the same rather that to wallow in self-pity and hatred.

I'm picturing Ste singing You Can Be Happy by Snow Patrol.

Aw, I agree. I find it impossible not to love them together.

LOL Maya the 'It would be beautiful if it wasn’t Hollyoaks' comment is far too true.

If this story was told somewhere else we wouldn't be getting one last OMG to throw us all of course, but Hollyoaks is Hollyoaks I guess.

And although it may not be 100% her idea, I believe it's time for this to be brought back

Will's cardigan might make an appearance.

I know.

I just love them. And how dark they are. And that it's gritty and emotional. That's why it's so good.

Is the poor woman still getting hate over Dublin happening?

Will's cardigan and Doug's cardigan could get together and make naff baby cardigans.

No, I think everything has been alright for her as of late.

I just made that during the Jubilee week scamming a few months ago when everything seemed to be going wrong

Guys, I really think you are stressing unnecessarily over Punchgate. If years of soap-watching has taught me nothing else, it has taught me this:

The first rule of Soap Club is that amnesia is commoner than the common cold.
The second rule of Soap Club is that every character who loses his/her memory will, at some opportune moment, be dealt a second blow to the head, which will return his/her memory.

It's a plot-device punch, just as it was plot-device amnesia, and I'm pretty sure it will be accidental.

I actually didn't think of it like this, but you have raised a very good point.

I don't know. It seems really crass to me to have Ste regain his memory by Brendan punching him in the head.

It is a bit, even though it would be accidental, but I've seen a lot more crass things than that in Hollyoaks.

Yeah Plus Doug already told Ste about the recording, so...
And I'm not sure this is a plot device. But I guess we'll see.

Do you mean he will tell him between now and then?

Ste didn't forget anything except for his wedding day though, and Doug told him about what he did, even if it wasn't the entire story.

So there's nothing else that he needs to remember.

It's incredibly tacky, yet some how completely believable

Though there isn't much he needs to remember, besides the recording itself.

It would be along the same lines as the January punch. Well done Brendan for getting revenge on evil child snatcher Ste, and well done Brendan for punching Ste to help him to regain his memory.

Just no
