Where can I buy Jamaican Patties?
Do any of the big supermarkets sell them? They are so yummy, and my local chip shops in Brighton don't sell them

I saw reggae reggae chicken ones in Asda today. Personally I don't like reggae reggae flavour. I prefer real Jamaican patties. You're right they are very yummy!

My local Asda sells the Island brand. But it is in Hyson Green - an area with a large afro-carribean population in Nottingham.

Most supermarkets sell the Island ones don't they? Our Sainsburys has them on what seems to be permanent offer at 4 for £2.50.
I think our local co op does them too |

It's the first time I've seen them mentioned anywhere - in Jamaica in the 90s used to eat quite a lot from a vendor on the beach - they were LOVELY. I like Jerk chicken and pork too. At the hotel I stayed they made lovely square thick cheese omelettes - their clam chowder was good too.

Sainsburys have these http://www.sainsburys.co.uk/groceries/index.jsp
I bought the chicken one last week and I'm sure there was a beef one too but doesn't seem to be on the site for some reason! |
