I don't think she was being bitchy, just expressing what she thought.

I think she has been a bit bitchy ... very free with the 'faces' too ( which can say can say a lot more than words, let's be fair )

Behind their backs.

Usually she talks about the others in the telegraph where I'm assuming they are asked questions regarding their fellow campmates. It's not talking behind their backs maliciously if she's just answering what's been asked.

She never says what she says in there when they've annoyed her to their face though. She doesn't seem like she'd be afraid of confrontation either so what would you call it?

Expressing her thoughts, frustrations, etc.

If she told them what she thought to their face every time she was annoyed then there would be constant arguments. The telegraph is a good place to go to vent instead of causing unnecessary disharmony.

She did bitch about Helen in conversations with others, also about Hugo.

Do you not see why thats percieved as bitchy though? Personally she can vent to the cows come home, I'm not bothered.
I find her facial expressions much more telling.

And the look on her face when David came back after he did well in the trial she wanted to do, and then Ashley when she came home with alot of meals, she looked miffed both times.

And remember the one trial Helen got all the stars, Charlie was the one campmate who couldn't crack a smile.

I can see why it would be perceived that way, but I just don't agree that she is.

I haven't noticed anything bitchy regarding her facial expressions either.

No, not at all

She's just reacting to the situation.

I like her, but she is a bit gossipy and bit bitchy behind others' backs, stirring the pot so to say.

It is a terrible record. Has any other contestant, ever, refused to do two trials? I can't remember anyone refusing to do any off the top of my head.

Charlie is not bitchy at all. The truth is that there have been no bitches in this series; I suspect it has been a bit of a problem for the producers. No bitches, no romances, no feuds, just a group of pleasant people getting on well almost all the time.

What?? How dare you let facts get in the way of a bitching session about Charlie???

(Forumites ironically indulging in the self-same thing Charlie is unjustly accused of ... very tiresome).

You can't deny that Charlie has shown signs of jealousy in and out of the bush telegraph.

Yes, I can. Because I haven't seen anything of the sort.

On the other hand, some see what they want to see sometimes or are too quick to misconstrue things. Not sure why that would be though. It's all very odd.

I think this applies to those who only see the positives in someone too and are blind to others observations as it doesn't fit in with their image of them.

I think Charlie is a total bitch. She says something that could be innocent, but it's actually quite provocative. Her facial expressions are very telling. The mock horror, raised eyebrow's etc. Instead of coming out and saying what she thinks she expresses her annoyance passively hoping the public think she's a controlled, calm, caring person. She doesn't fool me and the sooner she goes the better. Manipulative is the word.

Ah, now a forumite is trying to apply attributes to me that don't exist.

It's certainly a talent some people have on DS!

Nope. Never have seen just the positives in people. Not 'blind' about others' observations, just don't agree with them ...

And talking about people being 'blind to others' observations as it doesn't fit in witheir image of them' .... I don't suppose that applies to those who see only the bad, eh?

I'm realistic about human beings. We're a vile lot, on the whole. I much prefer animals.

Charlie isn't my favourite by a long shot.

Sorry if that's spoiled any observations anyone might have about me.

What about those people who think others are always being jealous and two faced, giving them 'evils', even when they are not.

I said the same thing. Apparently it's because I'm blind to Charlie's faults because she's my favourite.

Except neither of those two things are true.
