That argument really showed up her true character. Feel sorry for Hugo now.

Hugo needed taking down a peg or two, he cannot take criticism ......... well done Rosemary.

Eric spoke the truth when he said Rosemary can shout and grind people down .... and then think they can make it all better with a hug. I do quite like her but she really is TOO bossy and TOO noisy ... and it seems like she feels she always has to go back to Hugo to have a go!

What did he do to deserve the way she spoke to him. I thought he was very polite considering the way she spoke.

Why would Hugo need to be taken down? No one deserves to be treated so badly and rudely by that boor of a woman

Trouble is who's there to knock Rosemary down a peg or two....

She is very condescending and wont back down during an argument but will feign remorse afterwards.
I've meet people like her in the past and they see absolutely no reasoning whatsoever.

I'm so glad I'm not the only one. I think she is absolutely dreadful - loud, obnoxious and self centred. How dare she be mean to my lovely little Hugo.

I rewatched and really can't see why she turned on him like that for no reason and blew the whole thing out of proportion unless she feels that the general public won't like Hugo cause he is posh and by picking on him will make her more popular. If so I think it will backfire on her big time cause it's the first time I really took much notice of him and all I could think was well handled young man.

I think Rosemary has the most annoying voice ever.I felt sorry for Hugo he didnt really say anything that bad.

She's a very unpleasant woman behind all the 'oh my giddy aunt' little giggling fits. She's made it very clear that she doesn't like Hugo - because he's rich, probably. So while she simpers around Eric she constantly nitpicks at Hugo. He did absolutely nothing wrong there and acted with admirable restraint in the face of her blustering stupidity. I really want Hugo to win this - he's a lovely young man.

I like men who can string a sentence together - what can I say? He's lovely and quite dryly witty and he was remarkably patient with that bellowing old fool tonight.

I like Rosemary - I am enjoying her this past week on Royal Upstairs Downstairs...a woman who knows her stuff around the kitchen

Some clever editing there made it seem like a very odd situation. I dare say they made it look worse than it was there.

She's definitely good TV. I loved her to begin with - but I think I'd go completely crazy if I had to live with her.

She did feel bad about it afterwards. She's harmless.

Must have been other things Hugo did/said that day to annoy her, can't have just been the whole leaves thing. Jungle doing funny things to her.

She's a jolly, eccentric, crazy woman and I love her.

she sounded unreasonable, like someone going through a breakdown or something, it was very irritating that she just wouldnt let it go, she just had to get Hugo to agree with her or she couldnt rest. doubt its helped her image with the public
