The fact that everyone has had good things to say about him does say a lot. Colin mentioned in a an interview today that he wouldn't have got through the last week without all of Erics support and he hoped that at least some of it had been shown. I can understand them showing his cheeky one-liners, but considering people are crediting him with more than just being nice, its interesting how we haven't seen any of that at all.

Im just stunned that they are doing this still, after all the ex campmates said great things about him.

They are definitely asking leading questions about Eric, starting on a negative.

Eric has cast himself in that role with some of the things he's said. Initially I didn't really like him, but he's totally won me over, he's so confident he will win it cracks me up.

They ask about Eric's behaviour because it's so extreme. If someone else was over acting, then the focus would be on them.

I missed Helen's interview tonight, but so far despite their questions his campmates have been quite positive about him. Speaks volumes more than Ant and Dec's line of questioning imo.
He's been an interesting character in there amongst other quite dull ones. I'd imagine that's why he's focused on more.

I don't think A&D were trying to make Eric out to be a bad guy ... they were just giving us the opportunity to see some of the funniest parts of the show again ... and at the moment - Eric is the funniest.

Yes, but they have been told over and over again by the ex campmates that we dont see the half of the things he does in camp snd how nice and funny he is with them all....so it's time for A&D, and indeed the british public, to change the record.

He is getting more than just 'nice' comments...Colin said he wouldn't have got through his last week at camp had it not been for him., and hoped some of that stuff had been shown. They all get on well, but that appears to be over and above the general 'hes lovely' comments they give to each other, yet we haven't even seen this side of him on TV. By the others accounts,he seems to be a really hard worker in there too, yet we haven't seen even a glimpse of this - they always show him snoozing. I can understand why they show him saying the stuff he does, but the fact thats all they show of him when he seems to have been doing a lot more, and continue to single him out as the baddy, must mean this is the only side they want to show of him.
