I just can't stand her and I've just remembered the other day when Hugo guessed her age at 63 she was so offended but he was only a couple of years out as she is a sprightly 61. Why was she so horrified ?

Maybe she didn't want the public to know or was dismayed that he'd made such a good guess ?

I thought Hugo was ever so sweet. He actually thought she was around 65 but thought he'd compliment her by knocking a year or two off (according to records though ... she's only 59!!!!!) I thought his assessment of 53 was kind as she sort of looks around 70!

I think it's her weight that's making her look much older than she is. She needs to lose more weight or it will start to affect her mobility really badly plus bring other problems. Rosemary isn't just plump or could do with losing a couple of stones. She's very, very heavily overweight. So is Colin of course and it won't help his health either.

Wikipedia says she was born January 52,making her 60.my goodness she is 5 days older than me. I agree I think it is her mobility or lack of it that makes her look older.I'm lucky I suppose I can still do most things I could 30 years ago as can most 60 year olds nowadays.

I can't say I'd be overjoyed when someone added a couple more years to my age either, and I bet you'd be hard pushed to find anyone who wouldn't be offended. Maybe his intentions were sweet but he should have kept quiet.

Guessing a womans age is a no go area.

Rosemary looks older than 60, I agree. The extra weight definitely makes a massive difference. Hugo was actually being quite generous, I think.

Regarding whether or not I like Rosemary, she's a decent person at heart, but she freaks out far too easily for no good reason. She needs to chill a bit.

Guessing mine right would be offensive. I'd throw my Olay anti wrinkle cream at anyone who said I was 40. Hugo is just too nice to deliberately offend her. I disliked her squawking jumbo gob from the start and she just gets worse all the time.

Rosemary has, by her own admission, had a lot of alcohol problems in the past, and that as much as her weight, will have made her look older than her years.

Her shouting is part of who she is - she shouts at Alan Titmarsh when she's on his show - but what I find really annoying is how, if she gets into a spat with someone, she just will not let up. Talk about having to have the last word!

I think she is rather fun. I have no idea why you feel so negatively about her being such a jolly busy body.
So she hoped he thought she was younger... thats very common over 30. I'd go as far as to say almost universal

Well, yes, I'd agree with that, but one should look in the mirror occasionally!! (Susie-4964, aged 61).

She's the same age as one of my relatives. She looks 15 years older though. I still like her though, great personality.

I find her quite patronising and annoying and I thought Hugo did very well not to get more annoyed with her unjustified go at him yesterday .. She's always sure she's right

She had the finishing line in sight until her contrived row with Hugo, which not only showed her up in a very bad light, but because of the way he handled it, showed Hugo to be a very likeable character.

Reading a lot of comments on twitter and here, there has been a huge turnaround in support for Rosemary, and it would not surprise me at all to see her out tonight.

If it were a vote to evict I would agree with you. But as a vote to save, "negative edits" like last night often have the reverse effect. Basically, in a vote to save you are looking for anything (good or bad) that will drive people to pick up and vote. As we saw with Eric, I believe, a "bad edit" actually gave him a few more days (or a place in the final!!)

With that in mind its more likely to be David/Charlie/Eric in danger tonight imho

She has provided some entertainment in the camp, mainly due to her overbearing personality, which inevitably causes conflict.

Without Rosemary the show would have been totally different, and the food wouldn't have been so enjoyable. She is funny and enjoys herself all the time, singing away to herself. The only point I would make against her is that she goes slightly OTT when trying to argue with anyone and won't listen to them. The best way to deal with her when she gets like this is to let her ramble on, say your own bit, then keep quiet - that would stop her in her tracks. I do like her though - she's quite a character - and I'd quite like her, Hugo and Ashley to be in the final three.

I like Rosemary, in fact I would quite like to see a reality show staring Rosemary and Hugo having to work together out in the real world I think it would be hilarious

Ha, you made me laugh 'bout throwing your anti wrinkle cream!! As for that dreadful woman, she is almost spoiling the programme for me.
