Rylan and Ella being classy about Christopher
Here are Jamie East interviews with Rylan and Ella after they got eliminated, if you haven't seen them yet - they're a riot for sure. Jamie can't hide his dislike for Christopher, but I think Rylan and Ella gave really classy answers. Rylan also talks about Jahmene singing out of tune every week (or, you know, defends him, that is):

On the other hand in this week's Now magazine, James sticks the boot in to him.

James will do whatever they tell him too, like when Labrinth happened to be his favourite artist, "the complete artist", and also be on Syco and about to release an album.
He would bend over for Simon... JUST LIKE THAT! |

weird how this thread hasnt been filled like all the others! is it cos Ella and Rylan both said Chris is a nice guy back stage and can sing in tune? that too much for all the cyber bullies of chris to hear?
Also this has made me like Rylan he has come across really well... funny and honest and down to earth! 1 thing i did notice is Ella really has believed all the hype poor little thing.. Dosnt she remember what happened to Janet the 2011 version of her? |

Ella is sooooo media trained, like, to within an inch of her life. Any time beardy makes a comment even vaguely negative about anything involving the show, even if it's blatantly a joke she kind of lets her gaze slide away, makes a non-committal noise, and launches full-force into a soliloquy about what a soul-enriching experience the show was and how much she's grown as a person. It's honestly hilarious!

He would bend over for Simon... JUST LIKE THAT! ![]() As for James having "faith," in the show, I'm not sure what his basis for comparison is? The show hardly has a reputation for producing anything in the way of "cutting edge," artists..well, not those who've spent their time kissing the asses of the powers that be anyway.....and like you say, they have to.. As for Ella, I enjoyed the interview, she's eloquent and pretty fair in her comments. She dealt pretty well with the guy trying to provoke her into bitching.. And, if she, James Arthur, or anyone else is any sort of a musician, then they'd appreciate that Chris can, in fact, "hold a tune." James Arthur might look to be taken as a serious artist. Let's see how many tracks on his first album are self-penned. There's only so many times people will want to hear him doing the "James Arthur," treatment to classic songs. Rich. x |

The Rylan interview cracked me up
![]() Rylan: (about Christopher) 'He could be the next Michael Ball Jamie: 'Or Steve Brookstein' Rylan: 'I wouldn't go that far' I liked the bit with the pedometer thing where Jamie finds out he can make it work by just moving his hand ![]()
