I know she is really loved on here but seriously watching them all now and her milking it with the OMG I missed my child...i cant cope etc I am sorry dont go on the effin show if missing your child on a paid gig - whom you will see very soon and act like its such a hardship!! your paid very well in eastenders - and its your choice to go on this show! Also first of all dont put your child through the trauma of the door experience (this would have obvs needed her permission upfront) Have found her okay up to now but not liking the dramatics tonight.....also stop blaming Eric for the door choice - its bloody random!!

I am waiting for annihalation here, but I find her a little disingenuine..

If Charlie's fans really like her they wont vote for her today, she desperatly wants to be with her daughter.

I agree too. She's not responsible for the producers emotional manipulation of the situation, but yeah she's certainly making the most of it.

I like Charlie, and she seems like a nice woman, but nice doesn't necessarily make interesting viewing, in fact, I've turned over, I'm finding it a bit boring concentrating on her tonight.

As a parent would you put your child in a position where they have been told they will be seeing you, to only pull it away at the last minute and have your child disappointed and upset for a tv show? I call that a parent exploiting their child, and I for one would never put my child through that on national television

Charlie didn't do that, the producers did. They orchestrated the game and put that little girl in that position. If Charlie knew she would have been with her Kiki for sure.

I'm not a parent, but unlike a few in this thread understand how much it would mean if you could see your child but didn't.

It wasn't Charlie that put the child in that position.

Dont you think the producers would need Charlies signed permission to have her child used in the show? Or do you think they just grabbed the child from the hotel? Something like this task occuring would have been decided and organised who would be used etc well well up front and especially in the case of a child okayed by a parent and was okayed by Charlie to use her child for a task like that that, that could go very much either way.

I'm a parent and that was 100% all for show. She's an actress through and through (and not a very good one) Silly woman!

I'd agree. I think I would cope with the thought of not seeing my kids for 3 weeks, you can get into the mindset. After all, military parents do it all the time. However, it is a mindset, and you kinda shut it out, so to have it so close and be aware of it is probably gutwrenching in the extreme.

I'm afraid I'm one of those pathetic stupid parents who would have been gutted if I'd missed the chance to see my family.

Do you really think her child is unaccompanied at the hotel

So you think Charlie knew in advance and just pretended to be really shocked and upset when she realised (through Rosemary and David telling her) that her daughter would have been behind one of the doors? I really don't believe for one second that she knew.

Surely while Charlie is in the jungle, someone else will have responsibility for her child. So it's more than likely they asked that person for permission, rather than Charlie.

Nope I dont but it would need a parents permission which Charlie would have to have given and would have been preplanned up front.

I did feel sorry for the little girl and it was emotional manipulation by the producers which is probably why I didn't enjoy it. I don't find Charlie an interesting watch anyway, and frankly watching children being upset isn't my idea of entertainment.

That said, Charlie must have agreed for her daughter to be involved in the show in some way- of if not I hope that she has strong words for the person who did.

Would you allow someone to determine what your child was allowed to do or not do in a tv show without you knowing?, I guess I would just insist my child wasnt involved in a reality tv show in any way upfront but thats just me.

I'm not sure about that

Certainly, parental permission for a child to appear on the show would have to have been given beforehand, but, in fairness, Charlie may have given that permission thinking her daughter's 'appearance' would be on the other side of the bridge greeting her as she left the jungle

Oh you are so right. Better get on to Childline right away to report her. I don't know, parents nowadays. Thankfully we have you as the voice of the child and avoid exploiting this issue for your own ends. Oh wait......

Its just my opinion, no need to exagerate and for the eye rolling. I just dont think there was no need to put the child through it, and then milk the situation for all its worth.
