So I'm just wondering, does anyone know how they work out the dinners on this show? Eric got 5/6 and wins them 2 eels. If he won 6/6 would he have won them a turkey dinner (unlikely example) and if he won them 3/6 would he have won them 3 Rats and some veg (again unlikely example) or would it have been 2 eels either way until you get to 50% of the stars then you get 1 eel?

Reckon it would be good if there was a sort of menu they seen that showed them if you won all sstars you could have got this, if you got only 1 less you would have got this (so be thankful)

just seems like they go out and go through what they do and get nothing in return these days. That has got to have been one of the worst meals I've seen considering he only missed one star on the trial - Eric I mean.

It did seem a little odd. I don't see the incentive to win stars if the rice and beans is likely to be the more palatable alternative!

I agree OP - it is very strange. I wouldn't go moving lumps of offal around with flies everywhere or put my hands in holes full of critters just to get a couple of eels or a kangaroo tail

Now had they said that chocolate fudge cake was available, I'd have crawled into those holes and wrestled anything that was in there

The meals do seem a bit bad, eels are especially bad. It would be nice to see them get something decent when they win most/all stars.

Kangaroo meat isn't an unusual or bad food, but tail, I've heard of soup or stews made with that, but not cooked on it's own as its tough and there is bugger all meat on it; so was a bit cruel giving them that without everything else to do something with it.
