Be honest: do you feel sorry for campmates?

I would love the chance to go in there and earn one helluva lot of money for possibly 3 weeks hardship. If you get kicked out early on you stay in the Versace Hotel till the end of the show. Sounds fab to me.

That's why I like the campmates who don't spend their time whinging and complaining about the 'hardship' of it all

Eric was the only one I have heard say - "you take the money, you pay the price"

No I most certainly do NOT feel sorry for them:

a) they get hugely paid for it
b) none were forced to go.

Would you jump at the chance to go in. I know I would.

Exactly! Plus they want the chance to boost their careers or non careers as it mostly is. I certainly do not feel sorry for them one bit!

I wouldn't say I feel sorry for them, it was their choice to do it but I do think that the show is getting worse with the food they give them and I don't understand the need for it.

I don't feel in the least bit sorry for them. I'm always astonished what some people will do just to get themselves on the TV a bit more. I really don't get it, but I like watching them humiliate themselves.

I said in an earlier thread that I felt sorry for Helen, in the sense that I am hoping there is another side to her rather than coming across as vain, skitty etc and that she was just a victim of the editors scissors in a ploy to make viewers and us DS posters be drawn in and increase viewing figures... As Brian would say 'it's a puppet' and the producers are the ones pulling the strings !! Lol

Sometimes for the older ones. When Eric said the trial was frightening I thought of the danger to the health.

Money's nice but health is important to enjoy it. Eric was very brave but even he wanted to move on from the darkness in the tunnel and forgo one star in the process. I felt a little for him there.

I feel sorry that they get mainly 'horrible' types of food after the trials. I wasn't very well because of a bug last night and at the sight of dinner I threw up. Eels are not inedible I know but it's all the cooking from scratch which makes it unappetising.

I feel sorry for them when they are genuinely upset, they are human beings after all.

I have brief moments of pity for them, for example I felt bad for Charlie last night and I felt sorry for Hugo the other day when he was doing the water task. Ultimately though, it's their choice to be there and they're getting paid so I don't have any lasting sympathy for them at all!
