Fed up of the whole "I'm finally starting to believe in myself" thing. He'll get eaten alive if he carries on like this the the music industry world.

Time to man the F up.

The OP was talking about Jahmene. Why bring Chris into it? He's all man anyway
Seriously, any excuse to have a dig at Chris !

Not a dig in the slightest. I was just saying he's another one who is always saying how much he's grown in confidence blah blah blah.
I know you're president of the Christopher fanclub, no need to go off on everyone who dares post anything about him which doesn't meet your standard.
I don't actually have a problem with the guy. His over zealous fans are constantly on the defensive however.

That's an act though. He's been round the block more than a few times.

I'm not sure if he is as feeble as he comes across. He seems very set in his ways for a bloke of his age and I can't see him being made to do anything he didn't want to do.

Quite. Just cos he is quiet and shy doesn't mean anything. I think he's a great bloke.

It's probably the first time in his life that he has been given any form of praise or respect so him becoming more confident is a huge deal as it seems it shadowed over him for most of his life.

Some might say that Chris is craftily milking the system while Jahmene indeed seems very vulnerable.

For sure, he's going to need some guidance and mentoring.

Not sure he'd make too much of a media celebrity, he seems to be painfully shy and expresses himself better when singing than speaking.

But then, so does Leona Lewis..

Rich.

All Jahmene wants to do is sing. I do think the media spotlight will be too big for him but then Elvis was shy and usually hit away at Graceland. Same for Michael Jackson in Neverland. The media is a harsh machine but the people being focused on can just be scared little rabbits. He'll need a strong team behind him if he's to get through it all.

What a ridiculous thing to say. The guy has come a long way from when he started, in just a matter of weeks, to give the confident performances he gives now.

He isn't deluded and doesn't need to play the macho man bull. That is a real weakness when blokes need to hide behind the tough guy image.

Jahmene is very self aware and not afraid to be himself and be very honest about how he feels. Those qualities will get him a long way.

He doesn't need to man up at all, he is just a very shy guy, nothing wrong with that, bless him. Jahmene is a lovely guy, who is growing in confidents more and more.

If Jahmene and Chris had to deal with the exact same situation, Jahmene would get on with it quietly and will get to the end by being determined to succeed and putting his heart and soul in to it.

Chris on the other hand, would flounce around, sobbing and shaking saying "I cant do it, I cant do it" then throw himself onto the nearest piece of furniture waiting for some help and support.

I know which I feel is the 'bigger man' and its not Christopher.

I would suggest that those that think he needs to man up are the ones that really need to man up.

Stop hiding those feelings and have the balls to be honest - you might actually learn something from Jahmene.

Yeah they secretly wish they didn't have to play macho man all day long!

Many men who feel the need to project a macho image turn out to be closet gays!

Plenty of examples of this in history: like US Senator McCarthy in the 1950s who led a witch-hunt into gays and others but who turned out to be gay himself.
