Damn... I watch at UK pace but I took a peek at this thread because I knew Vino would be in trouble. I think I'm done with USXF for this year now, none of the acts left particularly interest me and you can pretty much tell how the final is going to play out .

The final will be so predictable if it's a Carly, Tate and Emblem 3 final.

Cant believe Vinos gone How come they are doing two eliminations a week, it makes the lives go too fast and doesnt give the contestant enough time to show what they can do before elimination...

I agree the US version is a hot mess. Double eviction after double eviction.

Happy Vino went, but gutted Paige had the lowest votes over CeCe (I like her but her time is up now surely?) and Emblem3 Not that interested anymore to be honest, Diamond bottom 3 was ridiculous but I'm glad Fifth Harmoy climbed the rankings as I expected after finally giving an uptempo performance (even if they didn't dance).

I was surprised their was only something like one tenth of a % in it between Carly and Tate Stevens.

Bit of a joke if you ask me, can't believe Tates popular!

Demi is an utterly appalling mentor. Actually can't believe how bad she is considering she was great throughout the auditions .

Congratulations to LA screwing over the best person in the competition. Amazes me that Demi get's so much flack while this guy gets a free pass. His song choice for Vino was probably the worst in the US shows history and now cost Vino his place. Ridiculous.

Oh and remember last week when Beatrice got voted out basically because she was too young? Yet suddenly that's not the case this week? Poor, again.

And I'd be confident in saying them being so hard on CeCe is getting her an extra few votes. She's dire, but continues to be the chosen one for them.

Thankfully Carly is still there to rescue this nonsense.

Beatrice got voted out for not being able to handle the pressure. She pretty much broke down at the end of her performance. Diamond managed to keep it together, so it would have been a moot point to bring up if they were to send her home.

I agree L.A is a pretty awful mentor though.

Clearly last minute song changes are to blame for acts being eliminated. It's just like the UK version, they already know how they want it to pan out. Lyric's song was changed on the day and they were voted out, now Vino's and he's gone. They should give them a song an stick with it!

I taped the show and am just watching it. I'm glad Fifth Harmony did something up tempo, it probably kept them in this week.

I'm shocked at the way Vino dropped into the bottom three (reading the thread)

Another Katie Waissel

Hope were the same in 2007

I think both Hope and Katie survived about four sing offs

Paige was really good. It was a shame she went

I did backed Vino to win as I thought he was the dark horse but the song choice was not good. I guess changing it last minute did not help

I love Diamond
I love everything about Cece (but the hair, still not digging it)
Carly is a mini Rachel Berry, who is a favourite in Glee.

Is there going to be a double elimination next week?
Because if there is I see Cece and 5th Harmony being in danger.

Has anyone voted for the Pepsi Challenge songs on the website? http://www.thexfactorusa.com/challenge

I think 5H has the worst choices (What makes you beautiful, an Ellie Goulding song nobody will vote for, Give Your Heart a Break)\

Realistically she didn't get voted out because of the pressure. Simon tried to claim it was all getting to her, which was a ridiculous excuse of her being young and because she got emotional, he tried to use that as an excuse to save CeCe.

My point is, it was clear this was an excuse to once again save CeCe, who from day one they've protected for some bizarre reason. Paige and CeCe broke down countless times and struggled, where was the "Oh, it's clearly getting to you" excuse then? There wasn't. It was favoritism towards somebody that they'd rather keep and it happened again last night. That sing off didn't even matter, no matter how well Vino sang, he was always going sadly.

Not that any of it matters anyway, LA is the one to blame. He's been horrendous this season from start to finish. From choose Brock ahead of a few of the others, some awful song choices and now this. Shame, because he was great in the first season. I mean his treatment towards the overs was embarrassing when he kept putting them down when he got told that was the category he had. It still feels like realistically, he doesn't really care about them.

I think it's funny that Britney seems to be the best mentor to her acts in terms of song choice and image, while LA and Simon seem very basic in their skills, considering that is their main job.

I have never respected LA, he is useless and talent-less. What he did to Janet Jackson was terrible. He's the main reason she didn't join TXFUSA.

Pepsi challenge songs are okish.
Voted like:
Carly - If I Were a Boy
CeCe - So What
Diamond - Diamonds (Was thinking Kiss from a Rose but... could be too low for her at the start)
Emblem3 - Marry You (Not too keen on any of the choices)
Fifth Harmony - Give Your Heart a Break
Tate - I just picked one at random...

Beatrice would probably have had to leave anyway, she had a hemorrhage on one of her vocal cords. She was on a chat last night and said she hasn't even spoken for two weeks until then

This show has been a car crash this year. All the singers sounded amazing at judges houses but since the live shows some of them barely seem to be able to sing in tune.

Cece Frey has been rubbish. I thought I'd hate her because of her cocky attitude but its because she seems incapable of singing well in tune. She shouted her xtina number the other day. Blubbed her way through the week before some how.

Stupid bottom 2 decisions by the judges...

Awful awful awful mentoring. Demi single handedly ruined her category. Simon seems to think if he tells us 5th harmony are great eventually we'll believe him. If not he'l throw a dead grandparent sympathy vote card at us. Every week one of the girls screeches out of tune.

LA didn't want the oldie's and couldn't even pick a decent song for Vino Alan. not to mention kicking one of the few probably relevant contestants off week 1. The country guy just needs to stick to picking country songs and will coast to the finals Im sure.

I suspect Carly Rose Sonnenclare is doing well because she obviously is amazingly talented having already been in the business 6 years she actually can sing anything well. Britney is dead between the eyes. I'm not sure she even knows where she is sometimes.

I think that's all my points for now!

5H will probably end up singing Give Your Heart A Break or WMYB, I think these two songs will help them survive another week but I'm hoping they somehow make it into the final three but it's very unlikely.
