There is a very lengthy interview with Sharon in today's Daily Mail - remember this is the newspaper that Sharon absolutely slated a few weeks ago for publishing an article about Tabby - that woman has so much integrity :

Sharon Osbourne interview

I also liked the comments
Quote:
“"She reels off the list. "Facelift, neck, breasts. Lips, leg lifts, bum implant, tummy tuck. I've had it all and it is fab-ul-ous."”

..... and she had the cheek to call Steve fake

I really hope Simon does not even consider paying her the half a million she wants to appear in the next series.

Just the one cheek? Did the surgeon miss the other?

PS I still think she's great - a real one off who is quite happy to put herself down as well.

She is also still going on about her burglary - saying in today's Sun that she is still too scared to open her windows at her mansion. She says its terrible when you feel unsafe in your own home. All of which I agree, but she is starting to sound like she's playing the victim, something which she said she hated and accused Steve of.

I feel sorry for her, she obviously isn't very happy despite having her family around her and all her wealth.

I don't feel sorry for her, she has created her own world and expects everyone else to fit into it and when they don't then all hell lets loose. I was a fan of Sharon before she did the X factor - not anymore though. (She also doesn't make any mention of Tabby, Cassie or Roberta in the article - thought they were "part of the Osbourne family" now )

Neither do I, but then I never did have much time for her or any of her family, when I have seen them on tv. As someone pointed out in an earlier post, for someone who doesn't like anyone playing the victum, she is doing a pretty good job of it herself. She has done nothing at all to ever endear herself to me. The less I hear of this despicable woman from now on, the better.

Wonder how long it took for Sharon to think that little story up. I don't doubt there might have been a behind the scenes row, but going by her previous character assassinations on Steve on the show, I doubt she did or was ready to praise him, but her version is oh so convienient, to explain it away I don't blame Steve if he didn't want to hear Sharon's praise, if that is indeed what it was I would have just ignored and walked away from her if that was me.

she is a vacuous hypocritical self-righteous user. end of story.

The whole eye rolling story is pretty much what that Terry one said in Now earlier in the week.

Dont they actually think after the way they've dug at Steve for the last couple of months, he really doesnt have any interest in what they come out with? Or does it only work one way in Osbourneworld. You MUST respect us but we can speak to you like sh*t?

What I mean is that she obviously has very deep seated self esteem problems that no amount of money and plastic surgery and even family support can remove. She isn't a nice person, she has obviously been using people all her life and that has become the norm but she has made vast amounts of money doing it and because of that and because she believes all her own publicity, she seems to think that she deserves respect from anybody and everybody, especially people she sees as less than worthless like Steve because they can't do anything for her. When she doesn't get it, she lashes out. I feel sorry for her that she is so desperately insecure that she has to do that but I don't like her.

And she has the cheek to say Steve went for sympathy with his tears!.
I do feel sorry for her but what else is that but looking for sympathy talking about her abortion and her eating disorders etc

Not a Steve fan but Sharon Osbourne has always struck me as coming across as incredibly false on television.

I don't think she's a diva. Just a sad woman who is getting older and doesn't like it. So that's one less thing for her to worry about.

Nuff said.

Go take a long look at yourself in the mirror Sharon and see if you really and truely can say you like that person looking back at you. Your bitterness is beginning to show in your face.

I was a new fan of Sharon and liked the new, exciting gutsy side to her in XFactor and hearing now how vulnerable she is, I bet she relished all her new fans. I would imagine it hit her hard, when she realised the impact and harm her comments may have done to her new-found fanbase. I know I haven't felt able to forgive her for her venemous attack on Steve. She obviously really DID believe he was some tough, arrogant thick-skinned guy who could take anything she threw at him. Yet for someone who has some pretty deep emotional issues herself, I'm surprised she could not appeciate the potentially devistating impact it had on him and his confidence, confusing him, when he'd barely taken in his new found success.

I do think it took guts to admit that she still suffers from bulimia, 3 times a day, however I'm not sure why she would reveal something so deeply personal? Clearly she's now regretting her outburst and needing lots of re-assurance. Do you think she might be thinking, "Well, if they knew me - the real me - it might appease the situation and help explain it away? Hopefully win over more people once they realise that I can't help it". You know, the - "oh she's vulnerable and unpredictable, so we sympathise?" Sharon needs to draw from the more positive aspects of the show, to give her enough confidence to face getting the help she so desperately needs.

Sadly, it seems to me that Sharon Osbourne is just attention-seeking and attempting to turn a story back onto being about her own problems.

Couldnt have put it better myself

I had never watched the Osbournes and really liked Sharon at the start of XF. But week by week i seemed to see this bitter, sour graped woman emerge and by the final i couldnt care less if i never saw her again !

For someone who hates fake people playing the victim, she is doing a pretty good job of doing this herself!

Yes, that was my favourite bit too. Even the dog tucked under her arm is a diva.

She's a pathetic, plastic, fake bitch! Just as well for her that Steve is a gentleman. I couldn't imagine her getting away with such a tirade of foul-mouthed abuse against some stars. They'd have smacked the old slapper so hard her plastic face would've crumbled to bits!

On the whole diva paragraph, bear in mind the Osbournes fly on the wall show started in 2002

Quote:
“I'd hate it if people thought I was a diva. I'd hate it, hate it, hate it. Would I have behaved like that a few years ago, before The Osbournes [the fly-on-the-wall show about her family], before the whole fame thing? I honestly don't know that I would."”

This is taken from an interview with Sharon and Ozzy on Blender (a music website) in October/November 2001

Quote:
“John or Paul? Sgt. Pepper or Revolver?
Nekkidrampage, Huntington Beach, California
Ozzy: Both and both.
Sharon [interjecting]: Ah, ****ing Paul McCartney’s a gay bastard. He tries to be Mr. Nice Guy, with those little arched eyebrows. You want to go, “**** off, get in the real world.” He’s like, “Look, I found somebody with one leg.”
Ozzy: I wonder if she’ll be in the band?
Sharon: Of course; she’ll be singing up a storm on his records.
Ozzy [nodding, to Sharon]: Look, McCartney’s a genius. The Beatles were the greatest band ever to walk the earth. The only problem I have about McCartney is, even God has a pissed-off day. No one can be that happy all the time. Even Mr. Happy gets a sore ass sometimes.”

Not only is Sharon Osbourne one nasty person, she is also a nasty person with a selective memory

For my shame I AM a DM reader, and read the article mentioned, and to be fair she was VERY self deprecating about the PS.
Oh and FWIW I am NO fan of Mammon Osbourne, although I stood and cheered her Stevo rant!

I thought Sharon Osbourne was great before X-Factor.

Everything that has happened since hasn't changed my opinion one iota.

In fact, I think I probably like her even more.

She's loyal to her family and she's honest - which are both qualities sadly lacking in many high profile people -
