I am a big fan of scissor sister, but have you seen their new video for their new song Filthy Gorgeous?

I love the Scissor Sisters. As you can probably tell by my username.

They are great and it also helps that htere lead singer Jake is filthy/gorgeous himself!

You can see all of Jake on the DVD - there's an easter egg treat.

I can't fault them at all, good song after good song.

Yes, strangely enough I saw it for the first time at 1 a.m. on one of the Freeview Music Channels. That might not sound strange, but they showed the uncensored video (with all the sexually explicit scenes) yet still bleeped out the swearing!

Apparently they are worried about children watching TV at 1 a.m. and hearing naughty words, but it's ok for them to see more explicit images. What a backwards world we live in!

Personally, I adore the Scissor Sisters, and Filthy/Gorgeous is one of my favs off the album.

I thought the video was......erm interesting lol but cool. I like the bit were they give that woman a makeover and she starts spinning them hula hoops around.

I hated it the most at first, then I saw Scissor Sisters at the Apollo, and filthy gorgeous was one of the highlights. That and Music is the Victim.

Scissor Sisters rock - They do what they do with sheer unadulterated enthusiam, without worry about poncy synchronised switching places and body rubbing. Quality! One of the best bands live - ever!

I really like the Scissor Sisters. They are good fun, with good, upbeat songs. The only one that Ive not really liked was Mary. I dont know why, just wasnt too keen on it. But the rest of them have been fantastic. And I love Filthy, Gorgeous. Though Ive not seen the whole video.

YES! Me too! Where just before they opened and there was too massive glowing scissorlegs, i took a picture with my camera, and got it set as my wallpaper!

They are amazing live. One of the best and I'd recommend them to everyone, especially other popstars who could do with lessons in how to have fun on stage!

Absolutly fabulous......Their album is usually on a constant loop on my minidisk lol. Getting the dvd for christmas....should be exiting!

Couldnt agree more. I saw them in October, and when you take into account the amount of touring back and forth from here to the US all year, they were fresh as a, er, um, Daisy!

They are in the zone right now. They've got a lot of experiene in gigging now and nailed all the songs from a technical point of view, but they haven't allowed themselves to become jaded or get wrapped up in credibility. They love to perform and their biggest thrill comes from seeing an audience having a great time.

It doesn't matter how good your songs are, or how good a singer you are, or how proficient the keyboard player is. If you don't look like you want to be on stage you shouldn't bother. It's an insult to the audience.

The Scissor Sisters cover of Comfortably Numb sounded like they were taking the mick out of Pink Floyd. An absolute disgrace.

I love the cover of Comfortably Numb. And I'm a huge Floyd fan.
