I'm sure I heard once that it was supposed to reference the part in the Wizard of Oz books were (after the Tornado at the farmhouse )the house/chimney falls on the Wicked Witch of the East and kills her.
This could be wrong though,not too sure tbh. |

I always just thought that the writer was being odd! The line has lost its quirkiness now that I know, from reading this thread, that it was sampled from another song in which it makes more sense.
