Unless you are desperate for an 8" screen I can't see why you would want to go for this over the Nexus 7 or Fire HD.
And for less money the Blackbery Playbook is a good buy as well. |

If you want a cheap tablet then look at the momo8 which I think is around £115 on amazon. If you want to spend any more then that then get the nexus 7.
The problem with the playbook is that you have to start messing around with it to load android apps and there isn't any access to play store I believe which means you will need to source your apps as APK. |

I managed to get a Momo8 from China for something like £60 quid. Took about 5-6 weeks but arrived without a problem.
Was spot on as well until I realised i'd never actually use it

This is why i have resisted tablet's until now, i just dont know how much i will use it as my Iphone does so much and obviously my laptop does the rest.
But i do like the look of the momo, i hadnt previously looked at the unbranded tablet's but i posted a thread last week regarding the fact all the 'big' players dont actually do enough for me to get one i.e Nexus looks great but no HDMI out and no way to connect to a tv ??? Kindle Fire HD will connect to a tv but obviously it is lacking google apps ??? Tab 2 has the apps but no one would confirm if it can connect to a tv or not and to be honest having used one i did not like it. So looking at the MOMO the only problem that it may have is a drop off with wifi, which is obviously a fairly large problem but the majority of time i will use mine will be when im in the same room as the router so should not be much of an issue and for the price i will probably give it a go. Does anyone expect the price to fall closer to Christmas? |

Where else are you going to get a month to try it at a quarter of the full price and return it for a full refund if you don't like it?
In respect to it being **** one person has had a problem so therefore the whole production of every tablet is? There is too much of this on forums, no manufacturer in the history of the world has ever had a 100% perfect run of products so go for it. As one of my ex bosses used to say "even Rolls Royce have mechanics" Nothings perfect. Personally i am a huge Archos fan and have the 8" G90, worked fine since day one and i am on my 4th Archos product and i will buy more. |

Prestigio Multipad PMP5880D Duo
My sister bought this recently for her OH's Christmas present and first impressions are good. As far as I can see the differences to the Asda model above are:
Quad core GPU 16GB internal memory Front and back facing camera (one of them is 5.0MP, can't remember which) And it's definitely 1024x768 Here's a (loooooong) video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S1lYr8QxkJM |
