Can't believe this amazing woman didn't have one of these already

I just want to say she is one of my favourite artists ever and it's unreal how many times I've played her Greatest Hits album this week. I've heard the songs so many times but it's something about them all being on once CD for the first time that makes them all the more special. And the new songs are great too, I just wish Sober was included

My Personal Top Five would be:

1. Behind These Hazel Eyes
2. Since U Been Gone
3. Sober
4. Breakaway
5. Never Again

This thread is SO overdue, though the support for Kelly on digitalspy forums has never been that strong, she absolutely deserves her own thread!

I've enjoyed watching her career as an artist and feel like I've almost grown up with her. She was just FANTASTIC at her Stronger tour and cannot wait for whatever Kelly has for us next.

I've asked for her Greatest Hits as a Christmas present, cannot wait to play the DVD of her music videos, she has some of the best in pop music.
I agree that Sober should have been included, but the track-listing could have been a LOT worse right? So happy Dark Side made the cut in the end!

Behind These Hazel Eyes is still today pop perfection. I'll never tire of it.

I totally agree, after playing it through at work it just reminded me how many amazing songs she has and to hear them all together spanning her career is just WOW. I really love the tracklisting, the inclusion of Sober would have made it perfect, but I do love it as it is. I hope I get the Deluxe for Xmas so I can watch all the videos ha

I LOVE her.. From Miss Independent through Catch My Breath I've loved every single she has released.. I got the greatest hits earlier today and forgot about gems like Beautiful Disaster, Walk Away and The Trouble With Love...

The, not lack of success but lack of consistent success, in the UK is criminal, songs like I Do Not Hook Up and already gone deserve much higher than #36 and #66

Top 5:
01. Because Of You
02. Beautiful Disaster
03. Stronger
04. Since You Been Gone
05. Behind These Hazel Eyes (Massively underrated)

Did anyone read the article on the Digitalspy home page recently giving Kelly Clarkson's top 10 best-selling UK singles. The list surprised me so much, I thought Since you been gone would have been her biggest selling single... and Miss independent was not even in the top 10

Their are two things about Kelly Clakrson I will never understand... Why is she so underrated and how was All Ready gone not a big hit.

She's underrated because she focuses only on her music. She doesn't make sex tapes or strip off in her videos. A very down to earth singer, just watch her interviews, and much better than the likes of the rubbish that generally tops the charts. As a guy shes probably a guilty pleasure lol, but I think she's brilliant!

She's my favourite current female singer, along with Crystal Bowersox, also of AI fame.

Kelly seems a genuine person who just loves to sing, and boy can she sing.

My personal favourites are:

Since U Been Gone
Sober
Dark Side
Never Again

I can't believe how inactive this thread is!

I really love Kelly's music and have been listening to her music a lot recently.

I was also blown away by this video of her American Idol performances http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RN0m1m0h15o

I guess she's not done much over here since her tour. I do love Tie It Up, and am looking forward to her Christmas album.

I can't believe how few posts there are in this thread! I loveeeeeeeee KC! She's so ridiculously underrated it's often frustrating but that's the rest of the world's loss I guess

So excited for her christmas album, and also her pop album and country album's coming out next year. Oh and the possible Broadway album she's thinking of releasing next year. It's going to be a Kelly filled next 12+ months.

And let's not forget she's now Mrs. Blackstock. <3 I love that she shared some photos and a video with us. She's never anything but amazing towards her fans.

Big fan of Kelly Clarkson here! I think her debut album is fab and still play it today! I haven't loved all her stuff since, I prefer her in the rock-style of things like her debut but she's super talented and always delivers on great performances!

My favourite songs of hers are:
Gone
Addicted
Stronger
Beautiful Disaster
Behind these Hazel eyes.

Great performer and I find it hard to believe that she came from a reality tv background - surely one of the most successful if not the most successful alumni from one of these things?

Love Underneath The Tree and the two other snippets she's released.

And congrats to her and Brandon. They look so happy in the pictures, and her dress was stunning.

Do you mean her actual debut album Thankful or her second album Breakaway? I only ask, because Thankful isn't really in the rock style like Breakaway is, and three of your fave songs are from Breakaway

But she's the most successful worldwide. I think Carrie Underwood is the most successful in the States now, but country music is huge over there so that's understandable.

Gutted the album was pushed back. Releasing it at the start of December only gives us a few weeks to listen to it.

But christmas albums are novelty records anyway. You only listen to them 4 out of 52 weeks of the year.

It wasn't pushed back. The album was always meant to be released Dec 2nd. The only reason why its released in Oct in other places is because they start christmas earlier than we do. Kelly releasing it now would be absolutely pointless. Most people don't want to listen to christmas music until late nov/dec. I think it's great timing personally. It'll do so much better in december than it ever would being released now.

Besides, who says you can't listen to it all year round? There are no limitations if you're a fan of hers. I'll be one of those who'll listen to it all year round

I don't think so. There was no UK release date until a couple weeks ago. Amazon is still saying Dec 2nd release date, as is iTunes and Kelly's website.

USA and a bunch of other countries got it last week / get it this week. When it comes to Kelly's music in the UK it's not a shock that we get it so much later than every other country LOL. It's become the norm. It sucks but it is what it is; that's just how Sony go about her career here.

I think she'd be silly to release it over here now anyway. We're not in Christmas mode yet. I think it's wise for her label to leave it till early December. Gives it a better chance of doing well as well.
