I had no idea who Hugo was before watching this. I thought he was a really nice, interesting and funny guy and came away wanting him (or Ashley) to win. He's done really well to reach the final five, that's quite an achievement from where he started.
His GF is stunning, and for all I know about their relationship (nothing at all!) they will be happy together forever..But I don't know...Hugo seems to have done a fair bit of soul searching in there, added to which he won't be short on offers, both er....romantic and professionally- which will take up his time. All things considered I can't blame her for the way that she was hanging onto him. Interesting times ahead for that relationship I think..

If he didnt have money/fame they wouldnt be together, its just something that some women are attracted to.

You do not know that girl so cannot make that statement as fact. Some women are. Just like some men are attracted to blonde, surgically enhanced girls regardless of personality. This does not mean every man of substance is.
He is a nice guy. I found him attractive and witty. I liked watching him more than anyone else. It is not like she is dating a withered 90 year old billionaire like Anna Nicole Smith did!

So Hugo has no other assents with which to attract a woman other than his er..large wallet? Because I think that he's attractive.
Now, if she were with Eric (no offence to Mrs Bristow) I could see your point perhaps a bit more, but even then there's always more to attraction and subsequent partnerships than just money.
They look like a lovely couple, she is stunning and Hugo a nice guy and he's funny, and his package.
I really wanted Hugo in the final, he was a great campmate and always put everything into the trials. I felt so sorry for him when his letter burned.
