Poor Steve what about poor Sharon
I dont mean this to be a hate Steve thread I dont mind him not a massive fan but I guess hes o.k.
However what I am fed up with its always poor steve, sharons nuts gone mad with her outburst. blah blah. Can we just step back a sec for all we know he was horrible to Shraon and Rowetta and her pa..... OK so sharon was un proffessional with her out burst however if he acting like a little shit then serve him right!!! She shouldnt have attacked him like that on t.v however its well documented in various papers that Steve didnt get on with quite a few people so do we really know whats been going on? After all a few hours tv on a saturday night that doesnt give us the right to slate their persoanlities as we know nothing really do we.... All we know is what we have seen with our own eyes and read in the press. Those threads who know his sisters cousins best friends wife dont really count so they!! Rant over....

Steve himself admitted that he rolled his eyes and said, "blah, blah, blah" to Sharon when she was trying to talk to him. As an older woman who has been in the business for years, she would have found that incredibly rude and offensive - and I agree with her. It would be a very disrespectful way to talk to anybody, so why Steve thinks it is acceptable says more about him as a person than it does Sharon's reaction IMHO.
To me it looked like the row backstage had just been the last straw as far as Sharon was concerned and she was so pi**ed off with him that she couldn't contain her anger. O.K. - it was unprofessional - but it was an honest reaction. I'm now going to run away and hide from the Steve fans. |

Get ready to run but remember you cant hide, Jeanie
Hmm, have you watched every week of XF and heard her snidy comments about him every single week. One of the many that springs to mind was Tabby trying to say he had a bad throat and Sharons reply "ooh dont say that, thats Steve's line" Do you really, honestly think she was being sincere to him about saying he had done a good job of this song in rehearsals? Even on the show when she says she has liked his performance, its as if someone has a gun to her head. I'd have been rolling my eyes too and "blah blah" would have been the least of my replies

It was either the This Morning interview or the GMTV interview where he confirmed that he'd done the "blah, blah" thing - he said it with his customary grin as though it was clever - and I just felt he was behaving like a smart arse.
Now I'm going to have to leave the country to hide from the Steve fans....!

If Sharon had treated me the way that she has treated Steve I would have done more than roll my eyes at her. Why on Earth should Steve show Sharon any respect? What has she done to earn it from him? The racist comments? The snide digs about his sore throat? Slagging him off in the press? Trying to destroy his confidence week after week after week?

Sharon was in the role of judge, and as that, she was giving her opinion of Steve and his performances. She was honest right from the start and it was obvious that she was not impressed with him. I agree she shouldn't have said the "sore throat" line - that was unncessary - and the look on Tabby's face would seem to indicate that he was embarrassed by that too. However, I do think that you can appreciate that someone did a good job on a song, without really liking them or their style (or them as a person for that matter..) Yes, I do think she was probably trying to be nice and compliment Steve on the final night - and maybe she said it through gritted teeth - but IMHO - he should have been a gentleman and accepted the praise, rather than trying to be sarcastic and clever. As the old saying goes, "be nice to those on the way up, because you're sure to bump into them again on the way down." |

Also Li'l Jon from G4 took a pasting for talking back to Simon. Lots of comments about him being an upstart - and Simon said more or less that on xfactor extra. So what's the difference between that and Steve trying to be cocky - other than it being a bit naive (or incredibly arrogant) to try it with our Shaz! Was she right to go for him in public? Probably not. Was it professional? Probably not. Does she care? Probably not. With her money and power, would I have done the same? Oh you bet your sweet life I would! |

Sharon and Loius thought it would be fun to gang up against Simon's acts to kick them out if they got the opportunity. If you look past it all, her major beef would be that Steve was never in the bottom two, so she never got the chance to get rid of Simon's act and also the rant had more to do with that. If Rowetta had been in the bottom two against any of Louis or Sharon's acts, when there was still a judging panel, then Rowetta would have gone earlier, mark my words. Quote:

or is it just double standards coming into play yet again from a Steve Loather ?Quote:

As the old saying goes, "be nice to those on the way up, because you're sure to bump into them again on the way down." Yes ok, unsurprisingly, you decide to believe and take Sharon's words over Steve's everytime. I would have said a lot worse to Sharon, if she has been so personal in her attacks on me, if I was in Steve's place, or maybe I would just have laughed in the silly moo's face as is befitting her and all she deserves. Hmmmm, 'Think' and 'Probably', says it all really. You implored forum member's to critise your post, so are you happy now ? And that old saying is a load of tosh. There is always one old saying to contradict another. In other words, you are suggesting Steve licks Sharon's a**e, well sorry, I think you will find Louis beat him to it |

I'd also like to point out that Steve has given countless interviews the last week or so and in every single one he is given the opportunity to say something negative about Sharon, but he has refused. If he had wanted, Steve could have made life very uncomfortable for Sharon in his interviews, but he hasn't. Considering the way that Sharon tore Steve to shreds on Saturday, he would be well within his rights to do something similar to Sharon. So, I'm afraid I have no sympathy for "poor" Sharon whatsoever.

Oh Susann - forgive me for not taking this all so seriously and for having the absolute audacity not to worship at Steve's feet. I'm not a Steve hater - I'm actually fairly indifferent to him. I'm also not a Sharon worshipper - I like the woman - but I have the sense to accept that she is not perfect. Unfortunately it seems that a lot of Steve fans think their idol is the Second Coming and never puts a foot out of line.
The running and hiding comment was because I just knew a Steve fan would come swooping down on me like a vulture as soon as I dared to support Sharon. And you proved me right. |

Right, so everything postitive about Steve is due to his PR team trying to cover up his obvious evilness that only the holiest of the holy- dear Saint Sharon is blessed with the ability to detect. May this Goddess lead us all to a higher plane of existence. God bless you Sharon.

Oh and by the way I disagree with you, Sharon expects respect, but does nothing to derserve it. I do not respect her. Angie xxx |
