What the hell can he call lawyers over? That's bloody laughable, if true.

If you zoom into the image you can read the text in the text box.

It says that his lawyer has accused ITV of depicting Eric unfairly in the editing.

Personally I think it's just a made-up story probably put in there by ITV themselves in order to promote the show and build up more interest before the final.

I know! Its a load of cobblers. I think the makers of the show hadn't realised that he'd get this far (or become so popular). I think the makers want a Charlie Brooks win for some reason.

I'm just waiting for them to dish some invented dirt on Ashley now!

His lawyer's seen it. It's his lawyer that's deciding to do it.

Surely they get the celebs to sign some sort of waiver to avoid this possibility.

Complete nonsense.

ITV depicting Eric unfairly? did the piss taking come out of Eric's mouth or not, I think they did. He said the frigging words so he id depicting himself as a ****.

Story is a load of bollox.

Ant and Dec haven't even taken the piss out of him. They took the piss out of Rosemary for being fat and ugly so maybe she should get the lawyers in.

Possibly, it wouldn't surprise me with him . He's a crafty so and so, probably got a few other tricks in the game.

Indeed, I imagine that it was pre planned before the show, I'm rather surprised that his agent has supposedly gone with this last minute 'bad editing' story because Eric is

a) By all accounts being himself and being represented accordingly.

b) Doing very well in the show and public vote anyway.

It seems a bit odd to me.

Its a bit odd because on one page of the Sun they have Eric's agent worried about him being shown as a bully
http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage...portrayal.html

and on another they have an interview with Rosemary headlined to suggest she claims he bullied her.

The point is that if he hadn't been so horrible to some of the other celebrities then it wouldn't have been captured on film to be shown in the highlights.
Of course we all know that editors will want the stuff in that is going to cause the most chatter but if he hadn't had called Helen for instance as "daft as a brush" or if he hadn't made snide comments about others then that side of him wouldn't be being shown on TV. To say that he is being unfairly portrayed is just damage limitation by his manager and this suing everyone lark just validates my opinion of him a s a nasty piece of work with no concern for anyone but himself

I wouldn't think so and even they did waivers can be overridden if the show does something bad enough to warrant it or the show could get away with anything.

But in this case yeah it's BS
