Sorry to put a downer on this, but its overrated.. How many times do you see the last four fail this trial? never. It always starts off with them getting pushed back, but by the end they all manage to get to their point.

If the production team kept the water at full force, they would never succeed. Its a bit like a superman movie,, no matter how much trouble he gets into, you know that by the end of the movie he'll come out on top.

I agree with your suggestion.... I think Ash and Charlie are interchangeable actually. Charlie looks strong.

I dont think Erics ego will get in the way, he seems quite surprised to still be there and he knows now that those left are stronger and fitter than him.

Maybe they have modified the trial.. i hope so.,
