Like Eric, she speaks as she finds - neither have exactly covered themselves in glory sometimes, but then the situation they've been/are in hardly lends itself to that! She isn't a saint, but then no one is - but there are far worse examples of a human being I can think of, and Rosemary isn't unaware of her faults - far from it - but she is a bit 'set in her ways' (as you would expect in someone of her age who's had to make her own way in life for so long to provide for her family on her own) and used to living her life independently of others. That seems to have rubbed some people up the wrong way, but I'd still have her 'on my side' if I needed someone to rely on in a crisis!
ETA I hadn't read the interview before I posted - but Rosemary seems to say a lot of things about herself that I pointed out, so I'm happy with what I've written and I'd still have her on my side!”
Good post, I agree with it all!

I normally find that I have respect for everyone - and then as I get to know them, the respect either remains, increases or is lost.
I don't start off saying 'I've got no respect for you, let's see if you can earn it'”
I agree completely with this!
Everyone deserves respect, until such time as they do something to lose it! Admiration is earned, but respect is something everyone is due!
