Probably because we haven't seen it for ages due to the rain clouds.
If you can see the moon tonight, get your telescope or binoculars out and look at the planet next to it. I believe that it's Jupiter and you can see it's moons.
I am glad that you all agreed it was a nice bright moon last night. You see last night was a micromoon as opposed to a supermoon (the one that the newspapers go on about.
But then there is not likely to be much currency in looking at a micromoon.
I was looking at the moon while playing a video game called To The Moon, watching a film called Moon, listening to a cd called Moon Safari and being mooned by someone called Mr Moon outside my window that is moon shaped.
Coz, if he touched the outside of his spacesuit, putting it on, if it stuck to the fabric, and then he went outside, if some of it then fell off onto the dust of the moon...
I commented on the Moon and Jupiter last night too
Slightly off topic but those of you with android phones should a have a look at Google Sky Map.
It's a clever little app that will show you the names of stars, planets and constellations by simply pointing it at something in the night sky

Ive got skymap - saturn was downstairs in the lounge last night .
I do like the time travel bit on it where you can look at where things were or will be on certian dates.
