Facebook on Android "No Connection"
For over a month now, everytime I try to load Facebook on my phone, the newsfeed will load up after a few attempts, but any thing else such a Messages and Groups just won't load. It always says No Connection. No amount of refreshing will work.
I've cleared Cache, updated it, and even uninstalled it and reinstalled it again, still saying the same. When I've googled this, I've found posts of people having the same problem in June, but nothing recent. Any ideas? |

Facebook on Android is a buggy mess! Just look at the poor reviews it gets on play store. They really need to sort it out. You'd think as big as they are they would give Android users a decent, slick app, but hasn't been the case for a good while now.

mrs - if it doesn't work for you, use the browser to login to it. It's almost the same experience.

The Android Facebook app is appalling. It seems to need more bandwidth than any other app I know, and often reports no connection when other apps, including internet browsers, have no problem.
For me, I hardly use the app unless I'm on WiFi. |

I gotta say, I'm using version 1.9.12 here on my Galaxy Note 2 with no problems at all.

I don't get that anymore since I got a new phone and updated the app. I used to get 'connection lost tap to retry' loads.
I'm using a Samsung Galaxy Ace 2 by the way on Gingerbread 2.3.6 |

6I have just as many crashes on iOS 6 as I do on my 4.1 Android (S3) so it's not exclusively an Android problem. That said, since the latest updates both seem to be a lot more stable.
