Brilliant.
Another tour announced with the tickets going on sale just before Christmas with 7 days notice. Everyone has now got a week to arrange who's going, scrape the cash together (at the most expensive time of the year) and try to book next Friday morning off work in order to get the tickets when they go on sale. Neil Young pulled the same trick a few years ago with his Hammersmith shows. The result? I didn't get to see Neil Young. The current way of announcing big tours is rubbish. Nothing, nothing, nothing, nothing...right, handful of shows next summer, buy your tickets NOW! If you haven't got them by 9:03am on Friday then the touts will have snapped them all up and you'll have to pay £800 on eBay for a ticket. Boo, Bruce, boo! |

Yeah totally agree with the above, they don't give you much notice and right before christmas too!
Unfortunately i can't go this time cause i've just bought Robbie tickets, but i went earlier this year and it's a brilliant show, as always with Bruce, definite value for money every time! |

Certainly Bruce's Hyde Park gig took a few days to sell out this time last year, so I wouldn't worry too much about booking the moment they go on sale.
As for the timing - it was always on the cards that the tour would be extended, so I've been putting a bit aside towards it and another few gigs that are in the offing. Wasn't enough in the kitty for the Stones, unfortunately, but one tries to be prepared

Is the Hurricane Sandy benefit concert in New York on 12/12/12 being broadcast in the UK? Bruce and the E Street Band will be on the bill, as well as Paul McCartney, The Who, Billy Joel, Jon Bon Jovi, Roger Waters, Eddie Vedder and Dave Grohl, Kanye West, and Alicia Keys. I would guess we'll see a McCartney and Springsteen stage appearance together, except this time the power will stay on (unlike Hard Rock Calling). It sounds like it'll be similar to the New York 9/11 benefit concert in 2001.

The 1985 Born in the U.S.A. tour was tremendous, and interest in Bruce was at its highest worldwide at that time. It's too bad an official video from that tour hasn't been released.

I'll definitely go to Coventry and hopefully Belfast, and I'm going to try and see him somewhere in continental Europe too. I'm torn between Munich and Milan at the moment...

Flights & hotel booked for Wembley concert.
I have seen Bruce at Slane 85,Dublin 6 concerts over 10yrs,Paris & London Emirates Stadium. Last two concerts at RDS Dublin were outstanding. Know doubt he puts 100% effort into the concerts. Spoken to many non Bruce fans who went to concerts to see what all the fuss was about and although not converted could not get over the intensity of his performance and intensity in the fans. Gotta stop now starting to get a buss while writing this. Roll on 15th June |

I wish he would play Atlantic City more often... easily the best song out of the whole catalogue.

They were, weren't they!
I'm a relatively newish fan - saw Glastonbury on telly and thought it looked amazing, had booked for Dublin (2009) before the Glastonbury concert had even finished, and hooked from then on. I've seen him that once in Dublin 2009, then again in Nashville 2009, and then in Manchester and both Dublin shows this year. |

I suspect they may add a second Wembley date if the first one sells out fast, there is a gap in the schedule.

Fair play to Broosh. The relentless touring and constantly keeping himself in the press has assured that his music won't be forgotten anytime soon.I bet most of the people attending his shows are under 30.
