Netflix is the better one if you can figure out how to get the US one.
If your stuck with the UK version, Lovefilm is the best. |

I use the US Netflix. It has an awesome catalogue imo.

Netflix all the way.
Been happily making my way through the whole of The US Office and Supernatural among other shows that I probably wouldn't have without it. |

Lovefilm has a much better selection. I think they are very good value too, and I find them extremely helpful on the very rare occasion that I have any problems, like a faulty disc or whatever. I've never tried Netflix, but I don't intend to, because after 3 years of being a Lovefilm member, I am still perfectly happy with them.

Netflix UK is kinda sucky but once you access the US and Canadian offerings its pretty darn good.

Lovefilm all the way for me, great choice and excellent service, great value for money, they save me hundreds of pounds renting blu rays.

Lovefilm or Netflix ? Black or White ? Night or Day ?
Try both, decide. It's as contentious a debate as iOS or Android or Sky and Virgin I suppose. I used the Amazon Black Friday to buy two 6 month subscriptions to Lovefilm for £15.98 each so I can have it for a whole year for £31.60 as opposed to £94

I've tried LoveFilm streaming and didn't like it as certain films were only available to stream via PC and not available via Blu Ray player.
It's Netflix all the way for me, and with unblock-us alongside I have access to all available Netflix regions which makes it so much better. |

I have Netflix but the selection doesn't seem to be that great. If there was a way of accessing the US one without having to pay even more on top of that to get access to their vast amount of shows and films it would be better.
What are the risks of changing to a US account, what if they catch you out? Is that website posted above and it's workaround legal? Also, I watch Netflix through a smart TV, so I guess it won't work that way as the addresses you have to use for websites are different than the standard ones. |

I have both Netflix & LoveFilm.
LoveFilm does have the disc advantage and that's the sole purpose that I subscribe. Netflix UK used to be very limited but I have noticed recently it has upped it's game such films as 21 Jump Street, 50/50 & Breaking Bad Season 5 have all been added. Although I use Netflix US on my Xbox (I have never paid for this I might add, it's very simple to do) I also use Netflix UK on my PS3 (I like to keep my options open) At the end of the day it all comes down to personal preference. My opinion is Netflix because of the selection & as an added bonus it's also cheaper than LoveFilm a month. |
