I know what you mean. I like both of them too.

But in my opinion, due to what appeals to me, I'm probably going to prefer Ashley more because I tend to warm more to people who show their character in the context of being in the camp and how they react to others in there, rather than basing things on how much they love their kids.

I like Charlie, but really she doesn't need this. I'm a bit disappointed that she show are falling back on this old trick of cynically pushing the viewers emotional buttons. Especially at this point a couple of days from the end when up until now I think they've done a very good job in general.

If she takes the money she knows that people will pass their opinion. She is the one that put herself up for judgement not me.

Giving certain celebs secret tasks and turning them into narrators is also interference, and unfair on the celebs who aren't involved.......They have given Ashley more than her fair share of air time, and she still pinches other peoples thunder (phone call)

Totally agree with you. I really wanted to like Charlie but she's been really disappointing and boring to be honest I don't get the love for her. she hasn't really come off well.

Well to be honest with you I thought Ashley was the forum favourite.

But coming into this thread is a bit of an experience. People appear to be overly defensive.

I don't hate Charlie either but there are posters who appear to be on a hair trigger waiting for a reason to jump on other posters if they say one word out of turn.

Do you know what is weird this is probably the most likeable final three ever... I don't understand how anyone has a reason to dislike any of them... they are all really lovely.

Agree with this - only time I can recall that I didn't dislike any of the top three. My only downside is that lovely Hugo's gone. But there's no Anthony Cotton, no Mark Wright, no Biggins - it's all good.

I suppose that's a fair point.

In Charlie's defence I also have to say that when they all did that electric steady hand test Charlie was the only celebrity who they didn't show completing it. I don't think anyone posted to mention that.

I may be wrong here but it seems that the show want to edit a fairytale ending story and have decided to create drama around Charlie and her child. That's always going to tug on viewers emotional heart strings. It's been tried and tested.

On this show it puts me off. Had enough with it with Sheree Murphy, Katona, and various other female celebrities. It's just a lazy cliche that they know works on this show. They did well up until now where it seems to be turning into a featured storyline. Hate it (Not Charlie).

The entire premise of the show is based on judging them.
If nobody judged them then nobody would invest any interest in the show and nobody would even vote.

If nobody judged them then the show would simply cease to exist as it depends on viewers judging them.

I'm confused as to why everyone is saying that Charlie is the only one with a small child. I'm pretty sure that David Haye has a little boy?

Just out of curiousity, do we know the names of other campmates' children ?

... or is it just 'Kiki' who has been so personilised ?

But the phone call wasn't set up for Charlie, Eric explained why she should have it and they went along with him, athough.......I wonder if the producers may have thought they would give Ashley 2 minutes, still they allowed her to narrate how it happened.

Charlie is quiet and not as forceful as the other celebs, but that's who she is, she doesn't teach dancing or shout to make herself heard.......I like what I see and hope she wins, it will be the first time she has beaten Ashely at anything....however I would bet my house on Ashley doing today's trial. she knows it could win her the title.

Won't they all do it? Normally it is 1 to win a starter, one for main course and 1 for dessert?
