I find your dislike for her a little odd. It's almost an obsession. I don't think anything she's done in there warrants the things you've been saying about her.

David's Son is 3 or 4 I think?

Its hilarious! I think deep down v-star is in love with Charlie but represses it with all this baloney!

That's the first I've heard of it

He doesn't ram it down our throats as a 'vote grabber' ... play play to him

When did Charlie do that? I never recall her mentioning her other than when the producers brought her into the mix.

Nobody else has been shown doing it, which isn't necessarily the same thing.

I like Charlie, but really she doesn't need this. I'm a bit disappointed that she show are falling back on this old trick of cynically pushing the viewers emotional buttons. Especially at this point a couple of days from the end when up until now I think they've done a very good job in general.”

A like them both, but the hate that Helen had has swiftly been laddled on Charlie. Its all bafling. I find it bizzare that Charlie has generated all the negative threads. The mother/child issue has been one exploited by the crew - and like you say, it does her no favors and is a dull idea to focus on - Hey! Theres 2 women left! Lets make the yunger one the tomby and the slightly older one the emotional needy mum. Its unimaginative pulling it the heartstrings.

The show has run out of steam, basically.

You poor bitter souls, why do you care so much? It's only a TV show, afterwards they'll all get together, have a good laugh and count the cash, and you lot will still be ...

I dont agree with you, Charlie has been really lovely about everybody and such a sweet girl. It was definitely a off the cuff remark and not nasty or spitefull at all. Don't look into something that is not there!

Oh you get used to it. He says it all the time, but can never quite back it up with any firm evidence

I think that using Charlie's daughter on the show for the doors trial and also for the phone call was wrong. I'm not blaming Charlie. What next - ill, elderly relatives on the phone from home ?

Kiki has been featured on the show, I'm sure if the other celebs kids had featured they would have been spoken about then by name.

I love both the girls and as much as I want Charlie to win I would not mind Ashley winning either. Has anybody stopped to think that the reason that Charlie is missing her daughter so much is because she is bringing her up on her own and although she obviously sees her father both Charlie and her daughter have got a really close relationship, that is obvious to see by the telephone conversation we heard tonight. If they are not used to being apart for over 3 weeks it must be so very hard for both of them!

Charlie for the win for me! She is such a sweet girl!

But we were all aware of 'Kiki' before the doors trial

I just wanted to know if anyone was equally aware of other campmates' children ... and know their names

It's a simple question, isn't it ?

He must be watching a different Charlie to most of us I think or maybe just a big fan of Ashley and wants her to win! I love the relationship that both Charlie and Ashley have together and it was so kind of Ashley and the others to let Charlie have the two phone calls to speak to Kiki!

I so hope that we have a queen of the jungle this year, its about time! I like David but I think the 2 girls have been better this year!

I wonder if Charlie has been way ahead for a while mainly due to being so well known and so the producers had to do something to make her crowning have some impact. She's done fine and seems nice but she's not made as big an impact as others have. So perhaps her daughter has been featured to make the end result " Awww!" rather than ?

It would be a shame if she won due to 'sympathy' votes.

Eric tends to say my kids when he talks about his children, Colin used to talk about his girls, Charlie only has the one and rather than call her my kid she gives her her name. We're all different. Linda said that she spent a lot of time talking about her children but it was not shown.

I agree with you apart from Eric. I think that Charlie, Ashley, David and Hugo have been great and definitely the best top 4 for me but Eric has got on my nerves at times!

But Charlie deserves to win just as much as anybody left in there. She has got on with everybody, been really sweet and tried hard at her trials. Both her and Ashley are real gutsy girls!

I don't know how they could hae planned today

1 They might not have won the phone call...not all the darts hit the right number.
2 She might not have been chosen..she certainly didn't ask for it.

I can agree with all that.

With no firebrands in there and the numbers are very low i guess they felt the need to contrive drama from somewhere.

Linda has one grandchild, who she appears to dote on

I don't know her name though, do you ?

There is only one child/,family member's name that I know ( because of repeated references to it in the show )

Kiki

I was trying to work out why the producers have featured Kiki so much. I doubt if Charlie was invoved in the planning at all so I don't mean it negatively about her.
