So funny, always great to see ehr so relaxed...so damn funny!....really hope that she hosts her won when she is promoting her next album would be insane <3 tis a dream...maybe more likely...but what a real surprise so cool!

A friend posted on WIlliam Orbit page saying how much he would love Madonna to go back to Classic Madonna sounds on True Blue, Like a Prayer, Erotica and Ray of Light albums....and would love Leonard, Bray, Daft Punk and him (Orbit) on an album...and WIlliam Orbit replied to him saying "we shall see"

i have an inkling....i dont wanna hype it...but i just have feels.

That is Madonnas legacy...that control of her own image and identity and musical directions....so that artists can achieve this....it was controversial, it was a massive step...and i am thankful that Beyonce is really ringing that home here too...be independant, be your own image, your own artist...whether it commercial or not...make it unique to you

I second that emotion!

Leonard/Orbit/Bray/Madonna would make my year next year if it were to happen!

But I think the problem is what is the classic Madonna sound? All of those albums are completely different. True Blue and Ray of Light are totally different from each other. Like A Prayer and Erotica are totally different from each other etc.. Madonna hasn't created her most iconic albums by thinking I need to go back to what I did before. If she thought that way, she never wouldn't have gotten to William Orbit and Ray of Light in the first place. I don't really see Steve Bray and Daft Punk fitting together on the same album. I think Madonna should continue with her instincts which has always been to move forward to the next thing. There's not one classic Madonna sound that she can replicate like some artists. There are so many different Madonna's. What I love about her is she is always fluid and changing so I'm not sure going back to old producers is the answer. She worked with Orbit on MDNA and even though I liked it, I'm not sure it was their best work. I want her to work with totally new producers and songwriters.

tbh i think it woud work....personally i now feel Orbit is in an inspried space...leonar will have matured/developed his style and sounds....and i reckon Daft Punk and Blood Orange could work well nicely...and by CLassics Madonna....something really peddling and pushing...there are no two albums the same...obviously but like to echo to the past and push forward it would be insane...i mean in music now listen to all the sounds that are used in contemporary music now that Madonna set standards for in the 80s, 90s even 00s too...so its insane...but i do think she can push forward with Orbit and leonard here....it will be a totally new experience all round without repeatinv the same as she has done...she is clever...she will push forward i know it...she never likes to repeat an it will not be a repeat.

Madonna/Leonard/Orbit for majority of album 13 would be insane...plus they can vary up the sounds and styles without repeating same ground...why not envelope the Dream Pop genre/Witch House/gothic Dance scene...married with Funk/Neo-Soul styles...it would be insanely cool!

I think it's hard to define the 'classic Madonna sound', she's done alot of different stuff. I would say she's got quite a few 'sounds' as she never stays the same long enough to develop a signature sound.

I would love her to work with old and new producers, Leonard/Bray/Orbit and chuck Avicii in there as well!

Oh and tonight i have felt very Like a Virgin album influenced...the heavenly Synths, the euphoria and punky/disco/funk blend really remind me of Christmas time...also the fact i got it at Christmas 2006 i think may tie in...but i just love that when i play the album i can hear Cityscapes and get those punky 80s vibes an colours in my mind...and her Warholian/Picasso/Haring inspired outfits/gears/looks....absolutely brilliant! Just wish Into the groove made the remastered disc but alas!

I do love that in that time she is still that same artist...makes it all the more cooler....Angel, Shoo-Be-Doo, Pretender, Over & Over and ress You Up give me goosebumps....

you're welcome josh. happy new year to everyone else here too.

i quite liked that mdna mix montage thingy, the guy/madonna clips made me sad though. do post the orbit mix of "some girls" if it surfaces.

oh dear, piers is at it again. i mean really, was that tour a "hide-behind-the-sofa-embarrassment" in comparison to other events over the past year? i suppose its completely irrelevant and obviously doesn't suit his ongoing agenda to point out that the tour actually ended in 2012.

Does anybody else feel sad when they think of Madonna retiring?

I try not to think of it but I read a thread on another forum today about how she'll be 60 by the time her current contract is over, and how she could be in a completely different mental/physical state by then...

Thinking that by the time I have kids Madonna won't be touring is scary

Madonna is a very focused passionate person who is in great physical shape. I don't see her sitting home doing nothing even when she's 60. She may not be doing huge lengthy tours in stadiums, but she will be doing something creative and musical for a long time. My mother is in her 70's and she still is active. I can't see why Madonna won't be the same way. Once the Live Nation contract is over, she will have freedom, but I don't think it means she will do nothing.

A Happy New Year to all the Madonna fans on here. I read somewhere that Madonna is going back into the studio at the end of January or early February so it looks like we have a new record to look forward to.

I cam't ever imagine her wanting to retire, she still has so much to say but if she does then she'll always be a part of me. I grew up with her and even though I'll never meet her and don't know her I consider her an important part of my life and her music will never die. I hope we get new music although I'm not 100% convinced
