I like that it references her back catalogue as in Take a Bow, You'll See. She wasn't taking the lead in the video but in this, she is the matador. I really think its a great video.

I really like the new version of Wash All Over Me. I think that would be a great single.
I like Unapologetic Bitch but can you say bitch on the radio? So that might not be a great single. But I think Hold Tight and Iconic would be wonderful singles.

Most obvious choices for singles to me are

Iconic
Hold Tight
Ghosttown
Devil Pray

With 19 tracks I wonder if she is planning to pull off a Janet and release up to seven tracks as singles?

Frozen
Ray of Light
Nothing Really Matters
Drowned World
The Power of Goodbye

(5 singles off a 13 song album).

So 7 from a 19 song album can't be entirely ruled out.

Here's a cartoon of her she posted on instagram. Isn't it cute? I guess in tonight's performance she will be recreating the video.

Nothing Really matters only reached number 93 on the Billboard Hot 100 and The Power of Goodbye only number 11, I can't for the life of me think why when craps songs have topped the chart.

But in the UK:

Frozen (number 1)
Ray of Light (number 2)
Nothing Really Matters (number 7)
Drowned World (number 10)
The Power of Goodbye (number 7)

Sorry if this has already been posted but I haven't been on this thread in forever, so does anyone know where I can order the super deluxe edition?

Until recently virtually all of Madonna's songs did well on the UK charts. It's interesting to note that before Erotica, Madonna managed to clock up an impressive 10 number 1s on the Hot 100 in the space of less than 8 years from 1984 to 1992. Since Erotica she has only managed 2 Hot 100 number 1s.

The whole album is starting to get ridiculously messy now with various rumours coming through via Madonna-Infinity.com

The UK version may now NOT include Messiah or SEX on the main disc. The tracklisting is now:

1-11 As currently listed
12. Beautiful Scars
13. Holy Water
14. Inside out
15. Wash All Over Me
16. Best Night
17. Veni Vedi Vici
18. Rebel Heart

Extra Disc (Super Deluxe)

19. Queen
20. SEX
21. Borrowed Time
22. Addicted
23. Messiah
24. Living For Love (Remix)
25. Living For Love (Remix)

Not sure what to make of this but I actually might not bother even buying the album if she's going to keep f*cking us about.

I know she may not stay there for long but I just want to say I'm so ****ing pleased and proud that Hold Tight has hit number 1 on iTunes and did it within 6 and a half hours!

People can say what they want about Madonna but this proves if the song is right people love her. Hold Tight needs to be upgraded to a single NOW so that it can chart in the official charts as such. She has a hit on her hands.

I agree. Hold Tight needs to be a single.

So, here are the confirmed album covers, complete with Stickers. What is interesting is the fact that on the LP version there will be NO credits and you need to log onto madonna.com to see them. So, yet again, it looks like the credits are going to be squeezed into unreadable blocks at the end of the CD booklet with NO lyrics.

http://news.madonnatribe.com/en/2015...lbum-stickers/

The stickers suggest that Ghosttown and Bitch, I'm Madonna could be singles. But...the Hard Candy sticker highlighted Beat Goes On and that didn't make a single.

I will be mortified if Bitch I'm Madonna is a single. I don't even think it should be a main album track. Queen, Graffiti Heart or Borrowed Time should have been on there in its place!

Hold Tight is the obvious single choice. Maybe its surprise success on iTunes yesterday will see it promoted to single status. If they don't do that then they are crazy!

There are lots of throwback moments in the L4L video, Erotica and Hung Up are in there too. It's smart the way they've done that.

ok just a few things to reflect on:

1. When is the UK super deluxe details going to be released?
2. Don't the 3 released tracks 'Hold Tight - Joan of Arc - Iconic' sound great ... they sound crisper through this release...they must have been further mastered ....
3. The Grammy Performance - it was one of the best of the night ...and most defiently the most talked about.... I thought that her vocals sounded ok . (but the live vocal show that they were better than thought and could have done with a higher level in the mix and with more reverb)... ..but she was out of breath and the dance moves were not as slick as normal (including her backing dancers). Visually I liked it a lot.
4. Bitch Im Madonna - is a song song that is gaining new fans attention and building on the new fans established from 'hard candy'. For me it is a grower. I look forward to the remixes.
5. The release format of 3 at a time is ok.... but they made a mistake releasing the lead single - living for love - in the bundle internationally. This should have been saved for a release inline with video and Grammys.

hopes:

Brit Awards performance: - Living for Love/Joan of Arc - orchestral and symphonic

2nd Single: Hold Tight

The intro to the Grammys performance is from the Offer Nissim Living For Drama remix. It's my favourite remix by far.

I really love Joan of Arc and Ghosttown. I do however think as fans, and to an extent Madonna herself, need to reassess how we talk about her. I don't think we should be so focused on chart positions and there is a danger of obsessing over her legacy in numbers that the artistic merit of her work gets lost. And this album from the track I have heard does seem to have plenty of good songs on, that are rich in meaning.
