What a great idea! Radio 1.5. Run by proper music fans and not egos of people who think they know best!

Rebel Heart: CD Booklet

On a different subject, Madonnatribe have reported details on the new album's booklet. The back cover is the striking (but uncomfortable) image of the outstretched arm with heart in the hand with blood dripping down. The booklet itself is full of striking images and contains more text than what MDNA did, but the lyrics are once again left out, and apparently, there are NO album credits in it either. Nothing was said about whether the booklets are different for the three seperate releases.

Yeah, I've read about the demands she made for The Voice.

I wonder how things would have turned out if none of the album had leaked?

Well done Madonna, she stumbled and was down on her knees but she picked up her crown put it back on her head and carried on.

Forget the cape for the tour.

edit : I think Jonathon Ross interview is tomorrow, I hope she makes a joke of what happened perhaps even 'fake falling over' when she comes out for the interview.

Just goes to show the absolute legend she is. And to all the doubters was singing live.

Absolutely. Looked a nasty fall, and she was up and continued within a matter of seconds, I applause that. Proof if proof were needed that she's a real pro!

I Love that she smiled throughout too despite possibly being in a fair amount of pain. Can you even imagine how embarrassing that must be?!?

Indeed, I felt so sorry for her. I know she put a lot of work into it. She is an amazing woman❤️

lessons to be learned that need to be applied....

1. She is amazing. How she picked her self up after the most awful fall on the Brits was breathtaking. Most people watching either laughed (with much love) or were horrified ...and majority respected her for her get up and the show must go on attitude. (anticipation for her tour has increased following this performance and her appearance stole the show, and will be among Brits history...and yes she does sing live...as proved)

2. Never ever again release a single midweek and without a physical release.
this song could easily be top 5 if it had been released On Monday . But sadly is lagging two day sales behind.... and may now miss the top20? as a result.

3. Promo is the key. The Brits, Jonathan Ross, social media are great but more is needed ..

4. Lead single with video only available internationally at the same time as a single purchase not as part of album.

Some Paris ticket prices seem to have leaked. Price range £180 - £400 these are all for packages (hot ticket, early entry ticket and vip party ticket). Didn't see any standard entry ticket prices, also the floor in Paris will be standing. Tour dates announced tomorrow.

i am coming closer to my ideal album track list for 'Rebel Heart'

but it really is not an easy job is it? The ballads are superb and perhaps the opus.

Anyhow this is my 19 track edition it stands

1. Living for Love (Offer Nissim living for drama mix)
2. Iconic (ft Chance and Mike tyson)
3. Queen
4. Illuminati
5. Rebel Heart (demo avicci version)
6. Devil Pray
7. Ghosttown
8. Hold Tight
9. Beautiful Scars (demo rock version)
10. Joan of Arc
11. Wash all over me
12. Heartbreak City
13. Graffiti Heart (demo version)
14. Body Shop
15. Holy Water
16. Inside Out
17.. Nothing Lasts forever
18. Veni Vidi Vici (ft Nas)
19. Messiah (demo version 3:38 long)

the songs that i wanted to fit were:
addicted, borrowed time, god is love and tragic girl .....

i think that this track list shows heart, a continuing theme of rebel and heart against an apocalyptic threat and has cohesion while offering a little diversity.

so at the moment this is my 'rebel heart'?

Why did you think Avicii has basically been wiped from the album? I much prefer his version of Borrowed Time and Rebel Heart the song was better under his production.

Devil Pray, Rebel Heart, Borrowed Time and one other are still co-produced by Avicci. Rumour has it that Madonna and Avicci had a really long discussion about what Rebel Heart should sound like. Madonna said that if you put it in your stereo in 5 years time, then it needs to still sound current. The Avicci current sound was stripped down because both felt that the Avicci sound was of "now" and not necessarily "then". The remixes may still become available in due course though.

Hmm interesting to hear that!

There are so many Living For Love remixes that any version of it could have been the final one. Hope we get to hear all the other Rebel Heart versions too.

Are the Kylie fans on here always so bitter about Madonna in the various threads?!

I thought fan wars like that ended years ago. I mean most of the Kylie fans now must be 40/50 years old. To act like that on forums is a strange one.

The Kylie fan in question has many accounts. Not just on this forum but several others and posts the same old stuff over and over again. I would advise just putting him on ignore and not rising to the bait.

Two words. Inferiority Complex. Nothing new with some pockets of Kylie fans.

I was looking forward to seeing the tour however I won't be paying almost £200 a ticket! Sorry Madonna, it seems that you are catering only for the more well off fans this time round.

Indeed. If you buy 2 tickets at around £350 plus travel plus accommodation (because she usually comes on stage after 10.30pm). you are looking at the cost of weeks holiday abroad. I can't afford a holiday this year so I'm buggered if I'm going to fork out that much money for a concert ticket!

When I went to the "Who's That Girl" concert in 1987, it was just £12.50 per ticket! The Blond Ambition tour was £26 and The Girlie show was £35. I know that was some twenty or thirty years ago, but come on, £180 for a concert ticket? Live Nation are only about putting bums on seats and charging the highest price possible so that once again, Madonna can claim the "highest grossing tour" of the year. Fans affordability is no longer relevant. Or considered. If it was they wouldn't be release several versions of the same album in the hope we all buy one of each!

When I went to see MDNA in Edinburgh it cost me £160 for two tickets. I don't mind that and if there were tickets for Rebel Heart at the o2 for this price I would gladly pay it. £400 is ridiculous especially when you begin to consider travel and accommodation as you say. Between us my friend and I spent around £2,000 to see MDNA in Edinburgh. Granted we did stay for an entire week and make a holiday out of it but then I wasn't going to travel all the way to Scotland from Norwich for just one night! The figure we spent includes the tickets, hotel, fuel, and spending money. I can imagine for London we would still end up paying a fair amount, even if we stayed just the one night. I agree; the prices are so extortionate because they want it to be the highest grossing tour (and break the records set by her previous tours).

I really wanted to go to The Rebel Heart Tour. I went to see MDNA in Hyde Park and hated the experience. Even Madonna was performing in a style that suggested she really didn't want to be there. The sound levels were so low you could hear every conversation going on around you. It really was the worst experience I had ever had at a Madonna concert. Nothing wrong with the concert, just the atmosphere around you. So, I'm really gutted that I won't be able to afford to go.

I have to agree with this. I went to Murrayfield for MDNA and to be honest it wasn't the best experience it could have been. My friend and I got in as soon as the gates opened and took our seats. She was doing rehearsals and it was very enjoyable; she had the small crowd gathered near to the stage at her feet. We were all singing along when she asked and she was very chatty. She went on to explain that she wouldn't be out until it got dark and that if she had to cut short we should blame the local council and complain the MP for the area because of the curfew which meant she had to be off stage by 11pm. She left the stage at about 18.30 and didn't reappear until 21.15 (ish). She did a great show but as you have said, the sound levels weren't fantastic (I appreciate we were in a stadium where the sound doesn't travel so well) and at times I couldn't hear the show for the noise of the audience. When she got to Open Your Heart, instead of doing the ten minute chat she did on most of the other shows she quickly thanked everyone for coming and basically carried straight on. As the show went on she cut out Like A Virgin and I'm Addicted (which gutted me because it was the performance I was looking forward to the most!) because of time restraints. She wrapped up at about 22.30 so that we could all leave the stadium before the curfew ended. What really irked me was that if she'd have been out earlier, as she should have been, then she wouldn't have had to cut out two songs. She was well aware of the curfew because she had spoken about it earlier in the evening; she must also have been aware that being in Scotland at the height of Summer meant that realistically it wouldn't be dark until about 22.00. Overall it wasn't the best experience one could have hoped for but the spectacle of witnessing the show live and in person and being part of such an electric atmosphere with other fans who were all as passionate as myself was amazing and I'll never forget it; I would repeat it in a heartbeat if I could.

On the subject of posters, where's Josh? A week before a Madonna album is released and he's nowhere to be seen! And TH14? Where are all the regulars?
