Love that song and video, even though unlike some fans Erotica as a whole isn't one of my favourite albums of hers. I've actually heard Deeper and Deeper a couple of times recently in stores (I guess they have some type of cable radio service they subscribe to). It always brightens up my day!
Oh really? Cool! I don't think I've heard it on the airwaves. Most recent one for me would be Express Yourself, I heard it at the start of January on my way back from Chester, never heard it on the radio before. Other than that, it's been the usual suspects: Like a Prayer, Papa Don't Preach, Open Your Heart and Ray of Light

I always love it when an underrated Madonna song comes on the radio....Rain was in a shop a couple of weekends back, Express Yourself album version i heard on local radio a few months back which was a neat surprise as they always played TIC version.

Also just when i got in from work my mum said that the Saturdays were on Radio 1 or something (she always has it on round the house) and said that they were in trouble for saying "shite"....i mean of all the words to say! Madonna needs an interview on there to shake the "shite" out of producers next era definitely...can you imagine....i mean how BACKWARDS is that! man -_-

Also this MDNA fan art was posted on FB i LOVE it!

From Madonna Persian Art

It got me thinking that i would LOVE for Madonna to embrace these Oriental sounds into her music again, she has had hints of it before and rumours of it on MDNA circulated but alas never happened....just thinking how beautifu that would be,

Also rewtched 007: You Only Live Twice last night (with rthe theme sang by Nancy Sinatra famously) and the Japanese influences ah man can imagine her going for it

It wasn't a regular radio station you can listen to at home. Some stores have these radio services that they subscribe to with themes. It seemed like this store I was in was playing some kind of hits of the 90's service. After Deeper and Deeper, I heard Wrong Impression by Natalie Imbruglia. Another lost song that I absolutely love!

Ah I get you haha! I guess such radio stations are the best. Kind of like those cheap music channels where you can watch like a Lana Del Rey or Jessie Ware video which you probably would not get on 4music or MTV

I've seen Lana Del Rey videos on MTV a couple of times but mostly as part of chart countdowns. I guess the MTV channels (Hits especially) prefer playing the same 20 songs on a loop

Yeah, the main ones such as Video Games and Ride but ones like National Anthem and Blue Jeans, less major. I think it was the same with M's Girl Gone Wild and Turn Up The Radio videos

Hhaa LOVE it even media in 1990 were blunt and exposed stories of WOAH ITS MADONNA...lets sell the papers

https://fbcdn-sphotos-b-a.akamaihd.n...72297813_n.jpg

13 years later....still the same

Which got me thinking...wouldnt it be so cool if Madonna revisited the "MDNA" concept and with these media stories and have her dance troupe/posse perhaps dressed as androgynous versions of HER a bit like (how on earth do explain this brainfart??) when Gwen Stefani has the Harajuku girls and they followed her in every media stunt 2004 - 07 and/or MJ with his Superbowl entrance but perhaps in bigger scale maybe and fuse it with video projects etc...i tink it would be really cool/fun/kooky and just a darn pisstake of the media somehow...

I never saw Video Games and I recall seeing National Anthem once, but that was it. The MTV channels seem to mostly play crap like 1D, The Wanted, Carly Rae Jepsen, Rita Ora, Jessie J and Emeli Sande (I know... but I think she's overrated)

People need to learn their lesson..whatever is considered "correct/right" Madonna will never do and never EVER tell Madonna not to do something.....because she will do it AND make it known

I don't mind Emeli Sande, she seems like a nice person and was in great spirits on Christmas Top of the Pops, couldn't say the same for some others

Anyway next era, Madonna needs to pull out a badass video for the first single and keep it up in order to whip MTV into shape and show the young ones how it's done

Man yes i do miss that it would be really slick if Madonna just really made some intensely iconic imagery across the next album and era and really psuh it out there...show the world what makes MADONNA overall and why she iss till held in high regard....epic! Make it epic, make it iconic and make it MADONNA something only she can do MTV was Madonna TV....lets make it that way again and throw the tosh out!

I know, to honest I'm sure a lot of people looked at the MDNA era and did wonder what happened, in my opinion it's not a bad album but it's hardly great, not in the ranks of Ray of Light, Like a Prayer etc same goes for the videos, I had high hopes for the TUTR video but it was not up to much. So yeah, next album, M needs to prove once again why she's called Queen of Pop

You know sometimes i think why on earth Celebration wasnt simply called - MADONNA - The Queen Of Pop! And just have at it and made it a 3CD retrospective of her anthems, hits and underrated songs plus Celebration, Revolver and Broken (Im Sorry) that would have been brilliant!

But yeah....MDNA overall is a solid album of 16 very different songs but no cohesive theme nor drive...personally i do love it but yes its miles away (pardon the pun) from her landmark/masterpiece albums! And nor is it defining either.

I feel what it simply did was show that Madonna can be in every single media form in a short amount of time with zero promo on her part bar the obvious...

Album 13....so much can be explroed next...and i feel we will have an album from her to define this decade most definitely...something iconic, massive in statement and has a cohesive theme and feel...it can have a range of course but damn it could be so so so much mroe than what we have got in recent years.....cannot wait though

Great picture. I never had the chance to see Blonde Ambition. The Girlie Show was my first Madonna tour. It's funny though to see that picture of her and how now people complain about her being too sexual and showing her body. Hasn't she always been that way, why is it a problem now? What I love about Madonna is she does change to a certain extent and try new things, but there's a core part of her that remains the same, that's very "Madonna". She has this amazing ability to reinvent herself, yet still be true to who she is.

That again is another aspect i love about her though...that sense that she never truly repeats herself yet there is always that familiarity...people should know what a force of nature Madonna is! She is bottled lightening that awaits to explode and take over when unsealed its brilliant!

ANd tbh regardless of what Madonna does there are always people that complain regardles despite the fact that shes still on top....she has never said she is "the best" at anything...yet the stats, critical reception, massive fanbase proves that she most definitely is baby!

That's another thing I like about her. There's a surprising amount of humility which is unusual for such a big star. She doesn't go around saying I'm going to release the greatest album or do the greatest tour in the history of the universe, she just lets the work speak for itself. It turns me off when certain stars overhype their work before it comes out or sometimes before they even start working on it. Just put it out there and let me decide for myself whether I like it which is what Madonna does.

Precisely, what she always has done...i reckon the only time she may want to do so is when she feels personally and artistically she has "made it" in herself you know? I love it...it is so refreshing to have her still let everything speak for itself...we as fans make our own minds up whether the material is not up to scratch or the best thing to ever happen ever
