I agree! I would love that sound from her. I totally agree about Some Girls, it has a retro 80's feel but a modern element to it also. It reminds me of Duran Duran.
So sad about Mark Kamins. I read that Madonna gave a statement about him to the Hollywood Reporter about how he was an important part of her career and her beginning in the music business even though she hadn't talked to him in years and even had a rumoured falling out with him. So classy.
I'm loving her on Instagram. I feel like she does post these pictures herself. I feel like if you as a celebrity are going to do social media, do it yourself and from your heart, don't get your publicist or manager to do it for you. The same with her twitter chats last year. It was clearly her doing it. Love her so much. She is truly a real genuine person no matter what people say

Sad to hear about Mark Kamins, I was actually reading about him the other day and his hand in Madonna's career

Yeah.....its what i love about Confessions On A Dance Floor...the odes to the past in music and forward thinking feel....Retro/Futurism combination of organic instrumentals and electronica...perfection! And Some girls was a definite allusion to that...odes to the past bu definitely modern and contemporary...its so cool!

And yeah what she posted about mark Kamis is truly touching and it must be tough for her to think about too...like how far she has come since is phenomenal!

And yeah social media the Madonna way is so cool...love that she tweeted the "new red head in my life" as her new horse...reminded me of the Equestrian segment opening of the COnfessions Tour....the horses in deserted landscapes....beautiful <3. You can definitely tell its genuine and this is definitely a making point for her too! Cannot wait to see what she posts next...seems to be something everyday thus far

Is the song "Something To Remember" about him? I was listening to this earlier on the album of the same name, it's a very sad song made more poignant by the though of it being about someone who's just died.

Well it was recorded during late 1989 alongside Dick Tracey and on the Im Breathless album which was an ode to 1920/30 showtune styles and Retro Pop/Jazz Pop so i guess maybe she alluded to where she was and where she is...thats the power of her though...so many songs have so many different areas covered they could be about so many things...its epic

Does anyone know who she is singing about in Take A Bow? My guess is it is about Sean penn. It uses metaphor of the show business and of course Sean penn is an actor and from what i read about him, he portrayed a fake fascade about himself when with Madonna. Like Madonna keeps saying "all the world loves a clown"

I think again Take A Bow could be considered about her relationships with actors in general...but maybe it is specifically Penn she is on about?? hmmm

For some reason, I always thought that Take a Bow was about Warren Beatty. But one thing I like about Madonna is she doesn't come out and specifically say this song is about a certain person in interviews. Sometimes when artists are too specific who the song is about, you just think about them and their relationship in a voyeuristic way, and it loses the universality. Her best songs are very universal, you can apply them to your own life, they aren't specific just to her and her boyfriends or husbands. She leaves room for your own interpretation.

I remember reports of Madonna having a camera crew with her. I wonder when this is gonna come to light. Beyonce was followed on and off for about two years, so i wonder if we will see a doc of Madonna this year or next.
