I think Mark Ronson and Madonna would make a good team too.

As for the DD album, I have that and really love it.

I may go for it...will buy their Hits and that album i reckon.....

Yeah i think its right that a compatability and a certain artistic blend and "gel" together is what is needed to push that OOMF....but i do think something beautiful may come out of it <3

Now is to book Abbey ROad as speculated/rumoured.

No, you have to check out Red Carpet Massacre! It's really great. It actually has less of a hip hop feel than HC. It has some 70's funk feel like Chic which DD has always had an element of but also some rock and ballads. Now I know a lot of the hard core DD fans hated it, they are the same as the type of Madonna fans who just like her 80's stuff and want her to repeat the formula, but don't listen to them! If you are openminded you will like it. I like DD in a casual way, but I'm not a hard core fan. With older artists, I like the combination of them retaining a part of their old sound but updating it a little with a modern feel. RCM does that perfectly for me. I don't like it when artists go too far in either direction, when they repeat exactly their old sound from the 80's without any updates or when they change 100% so you can't tell it's the same artist. I think that Madonna for the most part has achieved that happy medium on most of her records.

I have heard the Oh Father cover, which I love. I haven't heard any of Sia's other music. I've heard of Sia more in the context of her writing for other artists a lot. I think she has written stuff for Christina Aguilera and Rihanna. But I will have to check out her own music.

you know i have ALWAYS loved that saying/expression "happy medium" for some reason.

Yeah I think you can tell the difference between a commercial artist and a TRUE artist/visionary when they really mix things up with every record while retaining similarities but also big differences to...well diferenciate every album from the last to keep and sustain the interest, appeal and value of what music and artistry can provide you with...its amazing.

Okay i definitely will check it out

Yeah her songs on Christinas BIONIC were sublime....totall ysublime...you should check those 4 songs out....really sparked my itnerest...her song Blank Page on Lotus i loathe...its so dull sadly

and yeah she wrote Diamonds...and interestingly she is collaborating with Cher, Katy Perry and now most recently KYLIE for this year...its a bit of a Sia trend...and i only hope it garners more people interest into her work as an artist and not "david guetta feat. Sia" or "RIHANNA written by Sia" you know?

Its a greta album with so many Like A Prayer "feels" a Dance Pop euphoria....plus kinda New Wave vibes in some songs...it really has a childlike/teen nature about it i love for some reason....Kurstin i feel brought that out too...Sia has fast become afavourite actually ....and i am intrigued as to what she does/will do with the others whether its solely written or next level stuff i dunno? lol But its a definite album to check out and i definitely feel vibes around Kurstin....

That is so surreal...today i have been so into "Oh Father" so searched for Sia and her cover of it and ironically am SO into her now and that album...

But so glad you found Oh Father Omar man....it has such chills...Madonnas vocals and lyrics...so powerful and so many meanings there...the production with her and Pat Leonard chills me...the kinda Psychadelic Pop meets Bluesy Pop/Dream Pop is so surreal and powerful....basically another reason why Like A Prayer is my favourite album of all time....i know what you mean Omar...have you seen the video to it at all mate??

I only recently bought Like a Prayer. It was one I just didn't get around to buying, despite being hailed as one of her best, and I only listened to it the whole way through yesterday and it just blew me away.

I did watch the video and it feels like a film. Like a piece of art. All the quick flashaways, giving us hints of the story. Underrated.

Just listening to the Sia version now, AMAZING. Thank you for letting me in on that one!

I am so pleased you love Like A Prayer...it is my favourite album and IMO the best album of all time in so many ways VERY powerful <3

and yeah Madonna and Fincher really created art whenever they teamed up (Express Yourself, Oh Father, Vogue, Bad girl) sublime

And tis a pleasure man

Also speaking of Sia...she wrote a couple of demos for the MDNA album and allagedly Madonna was intersted (she may have heard about her "Oh Father" cover and dug it...she responded to Beth Dittos "Vogue" cover and her EP which was neat of her) but due to the time constraints of recording there wasnt enough time to include them and SIa into the album/era and Sia expressed her sadness a few times on Twitter...just imagine if she had...and rpesumably co-produced with Orbit and all?? could have paved a new way but alas...so many trickes missed with MDNA its unreal...but yeah forgot about that until now anyhow...

Just so ya'll know, A League of Their Own is on the Really channel right now!! This film has proven to me how fantastic Madonna is as a dancer!

Also i think Madonna is getting more influences by her hero Frida Khalo again which is cool...as she posted this

She did very well in that bar scene, all the flips and that and there were previews of the Erotica era to come but it's hard to believe in a way that Mae soon became Dita. Rosie is also pretty funny and I like Tom Hanks and Geena Davis in it

Yeah i like that shes done a fw flips in recent tmes and all

Yeah i love the allusions Playground makes me go all teary at the end...beautiful!

And in many aspects why Madonna is so underrated when it comes to acting...always at her best when she can stem off with the best...its brilliant!
