Yeah Hard Candy is now 5! Amazing how time has flown...i left Secondary school 5 years ago! ah man!

And yeah i love that she is attending these events and stuff...i think Madonna and punk would look so slick on her again...i mean she hasnt really gone real punk since early 80s New York really when she eprformed at Studio 54 etc...so yeah would love that again...although i guess she did for a segment of the Confessions Tour...but real all out Punk M would be amazing to see.

I hope she makes an appearance at the Billboard awards too...she is nominated in three categories there

Wasn't it the Drowned World Tour where she had the punk look with the plaid skirt and the studded necklace and bracelet? I remember going dressed up like that to that show. Great times! I have a soft soft for punk fashion.

Here's a new teaser for the Secret Project.

What does it mean? When does dignity end and rectitude begin? Not sure what that slogan is saying.

Thatimage and slogan confuses me?? Is it perhaps what is considered dignified in society and what is considered "right" maybe?? im not sure.

And yeah i loved that opening look...tbh i am not a massive fan of that tour but that opening segment with the Cyber/Punk and Steampunk feel was just insanely cool and i loved the Manga vibes later on for Sky Fits Heaven/Mer girl....Would love her to really crank up the Punky look

Yes, I loved that look, but I wasn't that big on that tour either. It had a very dark arty feel, but I think it was lacking some of the joy of some of her other tours. It didn't have enough songs to get the crowd going. She seemed more distant on that tour and not as warm and open as she was on MDNA. But I loved hearing Beautiful Stranger. I think that is a song she needs to do again on the next tour. But I agree I would love for her to work a punk look again.

As far as the slogan, to me dignity is sometimes being quiet and nice to everyone and not stirring things up. But sometimes you see things going on that make you angry and you know are wrong, so you can't be quiet. You don't want to be rude and disrespectful, but sometimes you have to speak up when you see things that are wrong. Perhaps that's what she's getting at.

Yeah i get what you mean there there is a definite lack of fun...i mean i felt she could have taken it to realy trippy Psychadelic lengths across the shows on the tour really...really encapsulated on themes and elements across ROL and Music albums really but alas...but then again some of the intensity on that tour was justified...but agreed by thelook of things the darkness on the MDNA shows really showcased a more macabre humour and genuine kinda tongue in cheek vibe and enjoyment partnered which i really do love

But iyeah i reckon jet black hair with blonde flicks in it (a bit like LAP - Pepsi promo look...but punkied up a bit if that makes sense) glam jackets/psychy clothing....it could make for a truly great renivention of music and distinct sounds for album 13 definitely!

As for the message i think next month we will know more ))...late May is being speculated...

Exactly. And I'm not saying this just because I'm a Madonna fan, but from personal experience from friends and relatives of mine who have been on drugs or alcohol. You try to help them but there's only so much you can do. In the end, they have to make that decision for themselves. They only change when they want to, you can't force them to.

it does look like he`s had a botox overload on his forehead and his weave`s not on properly, bless him. she was probably wise to accept his apology though, nobody wants someone like elton constantly making sly digs and at least she emerges the bigger person once again.

I sent Elton positive vibes as i played his collab with Pnau album today hehe....but in all seriousness i am glad its official...because i remember last Summer Elton did a Radio Times article where he praised Madonna and i thought WTF two weeks ago you threw all that bile at her??

But i am so glad that we are on positive trend and one legend respects another...even if i dont agree with his eprsonality at times i am very much glad its in the open and whatever and can move on....and exactly M is the bigger person everytime And i love that...now maybe they should team up now and make a corker of a glam Pop song

She's helped him out countless times over the years financially and otherwise. He just goes back to alcohol, she even paid for him a stint in rehab but he doesn't seem to want to help himself and unless he does then it won't make any difference who his sister is.

As I play Like a Prayer i cannot help but feel Promise To Try does apply more meanings to situations like this...so unsensitively dealt with in the press.

Speaking of which...i do feel Madonna could have done a "The Wall" moment like Pink Floyd and filmed a real artsy film for each song across it...daymn :/ Like couldve called it "Madonnas Prayers" or something and have it an hour long and tell a story visually with absurd vibes/trippy feels and layers across it visually mixing the steam punk/psychadelia/funk/soul vibes across the album into visuals/stop-motion puppetry/shadowy effects, distorted colours....basically a Madonna Burton team up would have been epic ....one can dream as i play it?? but seriously <3

I am in the zoooone...taken there...

love this from her Cosmo interview in 1988

“The musicians yell at me because when they take a meal break, I’m looking at my watch the whole time. ‘Okay, thirty minutes is up, get back in the room.’ I hate taking breaks, people come back lethargic, the energy’s down. I mean, I bring my soy milk and my apple and my rice chips to the studio, and I just want to keep working straight through.”

It is why she is where she is...music, music, music, art, art, art, perfection, perfection, perfection...

Has Madonna ever leapt into the crowd at one of her concerts? I'm sure I saw a photo of her on tv many moons ago where she was lying on her back in the crowd. It looked like she had fallen back and they'd caught her. It looked like it might have been the Like A Prayer era.

Sorry, something I was just wondering the other day.

Ignore the usual hate filled comments from DM readers! I think she looks cool. She's wearing Doc Martens. Maybe she's getting ready for the Punk exhibit.

In so many ways i am ready for it! Punk needs a come back...Pop seems to get a Neo-Soul vibe at the moment from JT and Beyonkey at the moment...maybe the future is Punky Pop....maybe THAT is a directio to be ahead of the game next...i believe what with our political disjointedness, the media all of a dither and our world in a state of mediocrity we need something with a massive PUNCH in Pop music in general....Im reeeeady for something real Punk!
