i think Riccardo sums it up

https://fbcdn-sphotos-d-a.akamaihd.n...75440162_n.png

But yeah Rihanna is a reflection of Pop music NOW....as in the late 00s early 10s decade....the idea of fast consumption, impulse buying, all about the hook and all about the front face.

There is no depth, passion, structure there that Madonna has always had since day 1 and still has to this day....i mean like when she said about the tour every day she eprformed...you could tell it was her creation and there was "no such thing as a bad day" but with Rihanna....shes cancelling dates left right and centre knowing she gets paid for it regardless....slumps around doing sexy dancing and poses every night and you can tell really that she has minimal show/tour input/output in comparison....and sadly that is a reflection of the idustry right now.

but trends/phases like this die out and become a moment of nostalgia...whereas longevity wins out ultimately...and Madonna has always done what she does best and that is a showcase and testiment to her...she is a warrior queen!

Also a couple things reignited my passion for Madonna to do something comic/cartoon-esque...

Rocco has just posted a purchase of Iron Man light up trainers!

And Sin City: Dame To Kill For poster reminded me of Madonnas Celebration lips look/gang bang fan art posters ....man that would be awesome

And harking back to Blood Orange...ehre he is with Flroence doing a cover of "I Love It" by Icona Pop and Charli XCX

Love the GMA interview. She seems fun to work with. Can she find a job for me on her tour?

I don't mean to tease Josh, but you're going to be so prroud when you finally see it. It's more than a reminder of why she's the Queen.

so excited .... i heard a pre release clip and it sounded like post production auto tune was a little too strong? please tell me this is not the case. Because while i expect it on 'revolver; I'm addicted and gang bang'...I do love the earthy deep tones of her voice as heard live.

Also - i'm so excited about the secret project - i am convinced that it is a video for Gang Bang. It looks awesome. Which means that the song will be released and accompany the dvd - but no new album this year I now fear.

Madonna is the Queen of Pop because she has become multi- sensory visceral art that has affected society. Gang Bang deserves a video ...and the message of gun, crime power and control needs to be heard.

Hard Candy had poor videos for singles after lead single. MDNA had better videos but nothing unexpected. The GGW video is very good. But it is M expected, and the song was very M confessions. I still stand by the fact that Addicted, Gang Bang, Beautiful Killer were the tunes that should have been released along with epic videos.

The standard version of MDNA is on CD at Amazon for £1.34, brand new, if anyone wants to grab a bargain.

I agree although i do like the video for Give It To Me.
I think GGW should've been a promo single along with the video. Love the suggestions Addicted & Beautiful Killer should've been singles & Masterpiece.
I do wonder about the secret project be cool if your theory was right. Gang Bang does deserve a video a strong video.

Here's the mini-documentary that's on the DVD. It's mostly about the dancers, but it's beautifully shot in black and white and has lots of Madonna's songs that weren't in the tour itself. Very cool!

I love the ROL album image, very aquatic. I love the gold silk of the Frozen single cover.
