This the one you are talking about?

If so that's actually a very interesting find and makes a total mockery of the bus.
yes, the picture does speak volumes. its just the way sabrina insinuates that gaga was aware of those messages and that coupled with her linking her previous article about gaga's fans supposedly doing blow jobs in exchange for "applause" sales, just further typifies her apparent lack of objectivity. i am still impatiently waiting on her response to the perez/gaga twitter debacle though.

Yeah, that did happen. But it was just some gays from ATRL creating fake Grindr accounts.

piers, please.

"Madonna and I, as regular readers of this column will know, have never seen eye to eye."

no, piers, as far as i am aware, this "feud" is entirely one sided and she continues to be unbothered by your views.

"Madonna, to me, is the biggest phoney in show-business – a ruthlessly cynical commercial machine prepared to stoop below just about any bar of ludicrous behaviour if it’ll enhance her brand or flog a few more albums."

pot, kettle! this is the man that is currently making a name for himself in us after latching onto the gun law bandwagon, knowing full well his outspoken views will generate interest in his flagging us tv show.

"Hence the endless toy boys, the cloud-cuckoo Kabbalah, the compulsory nudity, the foul-mouthed stage antics, the fake English accent, the grotesquely over-muscled arms, the Sex book, the… oh, you get the point."

yes, piers, the point is received loud and clear. you obviously don't like the woman, but you still would have thrown your broadcasting "ethics" out the window had she taken you up on your invitation to do a "life stories" show about her.

honestly, where would piers be today without simon cowell? he was a failed journalist with a level of integrity that sabrina o'connor would be ashamed of.

Lol, Piers is a silly arse!

He's been spouting the same old crap about Madonna for years, apparently she threw a bread roll at him once, he's never said why though, surely she wouldn't do it for nothing?

He's a laughable saddo if anyone's phoney it's him!

Piers is the biggest phony in showbusiness for what he says about other people...one of my least favourite human beings ever....completely do not stand for him at all.

Anyways, Happy Birthday to M..on here...missed the DS celebrations...loved seeing her party do she ROCKS that look as she did in 1990 and of course the RIT and the corset is back and eyepatch...she ROCKS it so many different styles...awesome! Queen forever

so he alleges and even if it did happen, it would have no doubt been a "symbolic" gesture. afterall, she's had journalistic vultures like him feeding from the crumbs at her table ever since she arrived on the scene. its also pale in comparison to what clarkson did to him too.

Was just listening to this. Not a good as Little Star but still amazing. I love how soothing her vocals are.

Funny how she never did a Rocco song lol

First I've heard about Love Profusion but Nothing Fails was her love song to Guy. However Madonna never wrote that. She just altered some of the lyrics. It was Jem's song. Madonna asked if she could have it after hearing it. I actually thought Love Profusion was also a Guy song.

I don't get why he says she's phoney. Does Piers know what that means? There are criticisms you can make of her, but there's nothing phoney or fake about Madonna. She has never pretended to be anything besides herself. She doesn't say one thing and then do another. She is who she is and she's not ashamed of it or tries to hide herself. I'm surprised he's so bent out of shape about nudity or sexuality because I thought he was very liberally politically. He total ignores all the great things she has done for gay people and gay marriage which he says he supports. Piers seems like the phoney one to me.

Doesn't Piers Morgan know that saying, 'it takes one to know one'?

He's the biggest phoney in showbiz not Madonna.

You re right, what other female singer or star can fill huge stadiums around the world ?
she is unique..
think back to that podgy little bird who used to appear on top of the pops
looking like a one hit wonder !
who would have thunk it ?

From the first time, I saw her I knew she would be a huge star and was more than a one hit wonder. I remember seeing here on American Bandstand in the US where she said her goal was to rule the world. She always had the "it" factor. She may wear more expensive clothes now, but more or less she is the same person as she was back then. She didn't let fame change her or make her bitter like so many.

I see the two usual suspects are doing their damndest at trying to discredit, demean, say she isn't talented blah blah blah in the 'most iconic star section'

I must say it does make me giggle at the long winded posts, they act like what they say is right and everyone else is wrong. I do find myself shaking my head quite alot when reading some of the rubbish. I can't even be bothered to write in the section because it's like trying to debate with a rabid fan but it's just the other way around were they are a rabid haters.

Madonna is an ICON that is a fact, people who say she isn't, I just have to laugh really because I mean, come on, you don't have to like her but FFS, there is no doubt about it.

I'm writing this in here because I can't be bothered with rabid detractors who spin facts.

Tina Turner did 218 shows and 4 million people saw her.

LOL Sticky and sweet 85 shows and 3,545,899 people in attendence. imagine if Madonna had done a 200 date tour. It's ok to say 4 million people saw Tina which is amazing but she did over 200 concerts LOL. Madonna nearly got to 4 million with 85 shows LOOOOOOOOL

Their logic makes no sense, they ignore the amount of shows Madonna has done and just bang on about ticket prices. Her attendence is huge.

i love these threads, do you know why? they always attract the same posters and the sock puppets unsurprisingly back up opinion. mention the word iconic or most influential in the thread title and they're there like a moth to a flame. i figure though, while they're there boring everybody to tears with their condescending and patronising posts, they won't have time to do one of their copy and paste jobs in a thread i am interested in reading.
I can't help but keep going back in. I think I'm done this time though. Its baiting with lies and incorrect figures. Its getting freaky now. He is ignoring the fact others are saying the same thing and just focusing on me. Its almost like he is stalking me plus that's the guy from the Janet Jackson thread......remember all that business where we all got reported by him and he got the topic deleted because he thought it wasn't on topic? plus was targeting Josh all time? that's him. Its the same guy.

Now he says he is reporting me! well DS will probably have his history on record.

don't worry about it. some people not only persist with their negative agenda, they also read threads that one would assume is of no interest to them. ultimately, we all know madonna is iconic and no opinion will diminish her true place in pop history.
